What do you think Sarah Ferguson will do?

I'm not sympathising with her predicament, but - she's not part of the Royal Family, won't be living with Andrew and he can't afford to support her. She probably still has loads of debt. Her reputation is ruined. Where do you think she will go and live if she can't afford a place? I'm thinking she should go and live with one of her daughters.

I am thinking I seriously don’t mind what Sarah Ferguson does. It is a very tall story to assume that Mr Mountbatten Windsor won’t have any money to give her in these circumstances.
I hope they both have access to good psychiatric support.

If I were her, I’d be off on a year’s sabbatical to Australia, staying with her sister, who she is very close to, while staying away from the heat surrounding Andrew.

I am certain she has more money than most of us would dream of so she will find a nice home somewhere near her daughters. After a while she will probably write a book or something like that, or just ‘retire’.

Surely she won't want to leave the country and be away from her daughters and grandchildren

Retread Sat 08-Nov-25 22:12:02

I don’t have any strong opinion on the topic, but her daughters have husbands! So she can’t just go and live with one of her daughters … unless her son-in-laws are happy to take in the mother-in-law.

They could meet up with her in Australia or elsewhere though, couldn’t they? I think she will be dragged over the coals more if she’s visible here, and she is peripheral to what’s happening to Andrew, so if I were her I’d escape to a more normal life for the interim. I definitely wouldn’t want to live with one of my daughters, that just invites more criticisms.

I doubt she ll disappear she does rather like the limelight and I think she may be quite thick skinned so probably a lot is just sliding off her shoulders
Why can’t she live with Andrew as she has been, it sounds like a BIG house he’s moving to
She ll probably write another kids book or sell her memories to the nearest bidder I m pretty sure she ll reinvent herself and survive

Galaxy Sat 08-Nov-25 22:32:46

I am not sure she would be able to get a childrens book published, even the world of publishing has some standards.

BlueBelle Sat 08-Nov-25 22:39:23

Well she hasn’t abused anyone has she ? although there’s been some question marks about business deals has anything ever stuck ?

Charleygirl5 Sat 08-Nov-25 22:40:02

BlueBelle I think his next house "only" has around eight bedrooms. Not quite what he was used to. Not for me because I couldn't afford the energy bills. In his eyes, it will be a mere cottage.

He has no idea how mere commoners like us live, and I doubt if he will ever find out.

gentleshores Sat 08-Nov-25 22:40:26

Yes how would she earn any money if no-one would touch her with a bargepole - no charities, no publishing houses.

BlueBelle Sat 08-Nov-25 22:41:20

Well if it’s ONLY got 8 bedrooms they can have four each !

It's the recently published email she sent to Epstein calling him a friend after denouncing him that has made her effectively a pariah.

Anyway her daughters seem pretty loaded I m sure between them they can look after mum financially I bet she’s got a good bit ‘under the floorboards’ so to speak

I’m sure the revolting woman will find some grubby way of raking in more than enough. Pity she didn’t grow up having to budget like most of us.

OldFrill Sat 08-Nov-25 22:44:28

Sarah Ferguson had a children's book due for publication in October, it was postponed until 28 November, whether or not it will get published is anyone's guess.
She sold her Belgrave house last month so imagine she has some funds from that.

BlueBelle Sat 08-Nov-25 22:45:28

She’s not wearing too well in that picture gentleshores
She’s a survivor she ll reinvent

Allira Sat 08-Nov-25 22:48:29

Am I bovvered?

She's probably got access to more funds and help than most of us can dream of.
She'll just have to tighten her belt.

Fairislecable Sat 08-Nov-25 22:56:05

I thought she had recently sold her house in Belgravia for £4 million, so I don’t think we will see her in the queue at the homeless centre. grin

She sold that house at a loss of £400,000. I think she has always had debts,

keepingquiet Sat 08-Nov-25 22:56:56

Weren't her parents wealthy horse breeders or something- not without a bob or two so a big inheritance there I'm sure.

I don't feel at all sorry for her, if she is without money now it is because she did stupid things with what she had.

She is still young enough to get a job, or she can claim pension credit when she gets her state pension and maybe get a council bungalow...

merlotgran Sat 08-Nov-25 22:57:39

I couldn’t care less about Sarah Ferguson. She had it all and her problems are of her own making. It’s not her fault that her husband is piece of sh*t but she has milked the gravy train for all it’s worth. You reap what you sow!
