Good morning all from Glasgow, where it is 12°C and wet.
I was about to turn over, thinking it was hours till morning, when DH appeared with my tea and hot water bottle for my joints.
GMB it is so debilitating, when pain keeps you awake., especially when you have childcare. I hope it improves as the day goes on.
We have Dollie this morning and like Babyboll, she is reluctant to change her routine, so I'm up early to make the pancakes.
Tomorrow the routine will be repeated with Babydoll.
I love my girls so much, but am finding it more and more difficult to give them the best of times, when they are here.
Despite getting up early, to accommodate the Scottish Gas appointment, and staying out until the service was done, the engineer did not appear until 4pm.
I was not amused.
He did phone to apologise, someone had no heating and he could not find the cause of the problem.
DH made me feel guilty, You would hope that, if it was us, an engineer would do the same., he said. He was of course correct.
As I get older, I dislike having workmen in my home.
I popped into B&M and at 9.30am, it was so busy, with Christmas shoppers.
On entering Sainsburys, I spotted the 20% off knitwear signs. Fatal!! However, why are sleeves so long and wide nowadays.
I was shocked how nany people, shopers and staff alike, disrespected the 11am silence.
The rest of the day was spent culling hospital paperwork.
I have kept every letter since the year dot just in case.
They were valuable ten years ago, when I ran out of sick pay and no NIs were being made and I had to prove how seriously unwell I was to the DWP.
My consultation on Monday set me thinking, it's time to let go.
It will take days!
Today, I am going to try and get to Mass and do the jobs, I didn't do on Monday. However, I don't feel great, we shall see if mind triumphs over my ailments. 😉
Have a pleasant day all. Praying that Mr Dragonfly has made some progress and all those in the sick bay have a gentle day.💕
