Good morning all from a dry but chilly North Leicestershire. I slept really well thankfully.

A usual Wednesday here - our cleaner will arrive at 9ish, DH is off to the gym and I am going to write the lists that I didn't write yesterday.

DH has just suggested fish and chips for tea - who am I to argue?

Have the best day possible everyone.

Good morning from a very dark S E Essex.

First thing I am having the stairs, landing and our bedroom carpets cleaned by our darling DiL (she started her own business when their youngest started school, the equipment and courses were so expensive, but she is now in profit 👏👏👏)

I may or may attempt to clear the Everest of ironing piles.

grandMattie actually a Christmas garland and a Christmas tree with baubles, just not in the usual Christmas colours.😄

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 5° and damp. Bellasnana I like your nails pattern. GrandMattie a very productive day for you yesterday. Karma that's very pretty.
Yesterday I went for a lie down after I'd taken the boys to school and fell asleep for over an hour! I obviously needed it. When I woke,I got all the things done on my list for yesterday. The boys were on good form again. They both wanted cuddles which is so lovely.
Today I'll do an hour in the school library. I have snow decals to put on the windows and Christmas books to put on display. Then home to clean the glass and windows and tidy the boys' room. That'll take most of the afternoon! The rest of the steak and sausage casserole for dinner later. Tomorrow I need to tackle the dining room. Have a good day all.

Good morning Mick and everyone.
Beautiful nails Bellasnana and another great stash of home made produce grandMattie.
I'm surrounded by pictures, on the floor, but sitting in close proximity to where they are to be hung. The handyman is due this morning.
The house will feel more like home I think once familiar picures are in place.
I'll make a chicken curry later.
Wishing everyone the best day possible whatever your circumstances. My thoughts are with those who are finding life challenging. flowers

Good morning from s somerset, sunny and bright today

I made a toaster1 top yesterday, very tricky thick fleece-backed fabric and I broke two needles. I had that fabric in stash for years and I think it also blunted my roller cutter. Cutting plus sewing took me less than 2 hours and it was hanging up by 9am. I am very happy with it, it is very wearable and warm

Later I made front and back of my denim skirt, so far it looks very nice with good pockets. Today I will do waistband, zip and hem. I took a chance with this, not making a toile but the finished measurements seem appropriate

Easy stir fry (tofu) today, sewing and knitting. I will be on my feet a lot of the time and moving so am not faffed with any extra exercise

Have a good day

Bunches of flowers, bellas? Looks lovely. Your nail technician must enjoy herself doing all those different patterns.

I’m very envious of people with attractive hands, mine have short dumpy fingers and horrible nails. Thankfully, my children have inherited their father’s beautiful hands.

Good morning from a rather wet Malta where we expect a rainy day with a high of 17°C.

Reading of all your busy, productive days makes me feel such a lazybones. I used to be always on the go but these days my CBA sets in and that’s that!

Went for my nails yesterday and enjoyed the chat with my nail technician who works with her sister in their own little salon. Their mum comes in so I know her well and it’s always very loud as everyone chats with each other and it’s all very jolly!

Stopped to buy some new trainers on the way home as my favourite pair gave up the ghost this week.

I had intended to go to Lidl but the aforementioned CBA had set in by then so I just popped into my corner shop for milk instead.

Might go today although it’s raining so I’m not really keen to go out.

Wishing you all a good day.☀️

Morning Mick, morning All. Our corner of Somerset looks dry and is forecast to remain so. Still very wet underfoot out there.

Little energy here, thankfully little needed today. I’m finding it hard to relax, full of worries. A coffee and catchup with neighbours this morning will cheer me. After lunch a ride out to collect the computer which will I’m sure involve a garden centre stop for a cuppa. Our wizard isn’t certain the computer will last much longer. Oh heck, at least he’ll manage the changeover for us when it’s necessary. Mr C doesn’t get involved now and I’m more than happy to sub contract these things!

Best wishes to all. Have the best day you can everyone.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Still dark in South Yorkshire but we are set for a dry day again. Yesterday I walked to school and back. I don’t like to take my car if I can help it because parking is difficult there, and I enjoy the exercise.
I had a message on the way home from GS asking how I was and did I fancy at chat? I told him to text me when he was free and I would ring him. It turned out to be bang in the middle of me preparing my evening meal, but I’m always so pleased to talk to him that I was happy to delay it.
Today I am going out for a Christmas lunch with a group of my neighbours. We are booked into a pub we went to last year which was very nice. Christmas jumpers will be worn. But before that I shall go to the gym this morning early.

Have the best day you can folks.

Good morning from Bristol. Although I have been awake for a couple of hours and am on my second tib, I’ve no idea what’s going on outside.
I was incredibly busy yesterday for some reason. Before I had gone to town for shopping, DD texted me with the girls’ demands for Christmas. When I realised at the bus stop that it was over 20 minutes late, I decided to take an Uber. It would save me nearly an hour. I got all I wanted very quickly and took a bus home.
As I had prepared vegetables for piccalilli on Monday, I had to cook and pot it. 14 pots, left to mature for at least 6 weeks. Then lunch and a teeny sit down.
Then, I went to church for that stupid course, thankfully it’s the last one. Or so I thought! Ha! I still have to have a face to face with one of the four leaders…
I refilled the little table with preserves and realised that I had no regular marmalade left in stock. So, once home, I made some more using tinned fruit (shhh). Another 14 jars. Both lots needed washing and labelling. I’ve done the piccalilli but still need to do the marmalade. This morning’s job.
Today is busy again. I’m hosting the Anchor coffee morning here. I’ll have time to rest before going off to church to help with our village festival.
The streets are full, full of people attending the fair; stalls, choir singing, mulled wine, etc. We have “quiet play” for the wired children. Gives everyone a few minutes of quiet.
Then a peaceful evening. Phew!
My best wishes to all with mountains to climb.

Good morning Mick and followers, it’s a frosty start here in south Glos and the road is wet, I’m hoping it’s not icy as tiddler has a routine vet check this morning. I need a repeat prescription and I can’t have it until the vet checks her over.
Her appointment is 9.20 so I think I will leave early and take her for a walk beforehand, we can do one across the parkland and loop back along the road without getting too muddy I hope. It will be nice to go somewhere different.
I have a zoom art class at 10, I will miss the start but can’t be helped.
I was given a frozen turkey yesterday, there isn’t enough room in the freezer so I will cook it and remove the meat and then freeze it. I don’t actually like turkey much.
Best wishes 🌹

Good morning Mick and all who follow.
Wide awake at 5 am but nothing to get up early for so will sit and read.
Waited all day for heating engineer, he eventually arrived at 4 pm, just the boiler service so didn't take too long.
Have a good day.

Good morning from Lancashire. Dark and cold this morning but at least it's not raining. I'm planning to re-arrange my furniture this morning to make a space for the Christmas decorations. I have a lot of pets so need to be careful where I put things.
