I do.
It’s always about dishing up food to friends/family. I don’t quite have enough to go round and I end up taking a little off some of the plates to make up a dinner or two, or sharing what is on my plate with someone opposite me at the table.
I had one such dream last night.
I know I’m stressed at present. Sadly my dreams have me agitated.
Do any of you experience similar?
Toilet dreams too!
Like AgNurse I am at work and I’m naked. The children are not there but my head and colleagues are. It’s a pretty common teacher dream I have heard.
The dead body in loft has been discovered and I am about to be visited by detectives.
Horrible recurring nightmare every few years!! Wonder what it says about me!?

Teaching a class who won't do as they're told, an inspector appears and I don't know any of the children and don't have any resources.
I've not had that dream but experienced it for real when I worked as a cover supervisor in a rough school. The management brought in a couple of good strong retired staff members as supply for the inspection day. Knowing that the kids always played up in cover lessons they put me in a class with a weaker teacher as a support. I didn't know the kids and the inspector asked me questions I couldn't answer, so I had to admit I wasn't usually in that class! I'm sure the inspectors rumbled what had gone on, including some of the naughtiest pupils being excluded for the day! The school went back into special measures afterwards!
I retired in 2017.
My recurring dream is I am still at work and yet again missed the deadline to hand in my notice, so have to work another month! Then frantically try to type the letter, but miss the deadline yet again!
Becoming less frequent now, but still happens.
Lots of toilet dreams for me too, but I don’t wake wanting to go I m often in school trying to find a loo and I m going up and down the staircases but the loo’s not there where it should be or it’s locked and I have to find another one
I don’t dream nearly as much now as I used to or if I do, I don’t remember I had a period where I had awful waking nightmares. I can’t remember them now but I know it went on for quite a few weeks but I’ve never had one since.

The dream about your late DH must have been a real comfort for you. I lost my DH over 3 yrs ago and have only had 1 dream with him in it. He was just walking but I didn't know if he was walking towards me or away from me, I sometimes wonder about that.
It was, knspol, thank you. I woke up feeling comforted, as if we'd had a wee visit. I had been wondering about how I would cope with the first Christmas without him, but everything went well and we all shared happy memories together.
Perhaps you will dream of your DH again.
Agree with fancythat, mine are often toilet related too.
When I was quite a young child I used to have dreams about my teeth falling out. These carried on right into adult life. As the years went on and I started having crowns the dreams changed and were mainly about crowns falling off and me being left with a mouth full of stumps that were going to break. I read somewhere that dreams about teeth are a sign of stress, but it must be about 20 years since I had one and I don't think I'm much less stressed now than I was 20 years ago.

I have the same dream as gentleshores. I am in a lift going up and up. I am looking at the floor indicator, then when we get to the top floor the lift just keeps on going right out of the roof. Then I wake up.
I also have toilet dreams. Usually there is a big queue and I dont think I can hold on. When I finally get a cubicle the toilet is completely blocked and unusable, or its filled with concrete, or its not connected up and has no water in it. Or even worse I find the loo is functioning, I dream I am having a wee, then wake up in a sweat of fear that I have wet the bed (so far that has never happened).
Hello! Amazing we had the same dream! I definitely did have a lift phobia for years - did you?

I ( thankfully ) don't have it any longer but for a 5 years I used to regularly dream of Zombies !
I used to be with a group of random people in a house which had zombies trying to get in .
Watching too many horror films ha ha! Seriously though, even now, something I've just watched on TV gets into my dreams.

Oh yes, mine are always toilet related.
No door, no seat, no paper or really dirty.
I have just the same. Must have a meaning.

Ooh I have this dream quite often. Two nights ago I had found a toilet and something came over the door and an old friend came in and sat down to use the toilet. I woke up really needing to go. I occasionally have the one where my car brakes won work and I am usually travelling backwards.
I have that dream too.

In mine, I'm running down a white corridor with a glass wall. A tiger is chasing me/keeping pace outside of the glass.
Had it for years on and off - heaven knows what it symbolises!
I have the packing nightmare dream. Nothing fits in the suitcase and I am always last for the transport. I probably have this dream because I holiday with a very efficient friend who never packs more than she needs and always knows exactly where everything is.

Me too. The toilet ones.
I used to dream about being naked in dreams when I was out and about. Thankfully those stopped years ago and I learned that it was a common dream, and why people normally had them. I dreamed about my car breaking down and me having to push it to where I was going. Thankfully in the dream I was able to do that.
I had one for years about lifts! Nightmare more like - a lift was going up and getting faster and faster and not going to stop and just when I expected it to crash, it would fly out of the top of the building and float down to earth. Then one day I just didn't have it any more. Maybe I got over my fear of lifts!
A levels.
I wonder why we have those specific dreams, I feel I have had more stressful times in my life than my levels, but that is what my dream state always returns to.
Finding myself in front of a difficult Year 6 class, with no lesson plan, nothing prepared, no materials and the feeling of utter panic as I realise.I will have to wing it..... And that's when I wake up and thank God it's a dream.
