I know I said earlier that I coul stand Fairy Tale of New York, seems I’m unusual.
A song about a couple who met with great expectations and ended up broken and disliking each other intensely. Doesn’t seem very much like Christmas to me.

That’s what I think too, it’s basically about a couple of drunks on Christmas Eve.

But I like all the usual: Slade / wizard etc.
And Leona Lewis. ‘One more sleep’ is really nice.
They don’t make Christmas songs anymore do they.

Fairy Tale of NY is my favourite followed by All I want for Christmas.

My faves are Bruce Springsteen , Santa Claus is coming to town .
Wham last Christmas and Chris Rea Driving home for Christmas.

I like Stop the Cavalry too,Shakin Stevens Snow is Falling and Wizzard,I wish it could be Christmas, also like the David Bowie and Bing Crosby Little Drummer Boy.
