Does anyone have one of the small compact square baths that we are starting to see. Was wondering has would like a bath putting in after many years without one but not sure what to choose.

Sounds like a good idea if you are sure upu can do the required "Knee-to-Chest" tuck

I think some now have a seat in them maybe?

What's the point of a bath you can't lie down in ?
Might as well splash out ! on a fancy walk in shower with sturdy seat
or a wet room.

I used to work in care settings where they had an ambibath. You walked into it, closed and sealed the door, then ran the bath whilst in it.
Speaking as someone who likes a bath, I think it’s a good idea. I would just make sure that you don’t need a helper to manhandle the door for you, as that was the case in the old days..

Like a sitz bath, or the Japanese baths you can get? A friend had one installed nearly 40 years ago. Her partner told her she looked like a beached whale in it and she never used it again. You won’t be surprised to hear that the partner was also ditched!!

No not going to buy a bath with a door that would make me feel older than you are every time you have to go into the bathroom and look at that!

And you have to sit there getting chilly while it empties before you can open the door and get out.

I don't have one, but long ago as an au pair girl there was one in the bathroom I shared with the three children I looked after. I loved that bath; it had an internal moulded seat and I could sit in it up to my neck in hot water.

I hadn’t thought of that!
