A day to myself as the boys are off to the match. I must tidy and start putting presents and odd bits away. I feel as if I’m still,on Christmas holiday as I retired last week and the days have been rolling into one. I do hope I settle as I’ve planned this for ages. Will miss my dear children and have lots of meteorites. Any suggestions ladies on retirement? Cooking a gammon joint and making broth so must get on.

Georgesgran you must be devastated about your DDs falling out. I know family estrangement only too well as is with myself and my brother. It’s heartbreaking for our parents. 💐

Morning everyone from not as cold as it was yesterday Somerset. We still have no central heating after a man came, banged about a bit, did a temporary fix, with a promise to order a part and return next week. Temporary meant it lasted 2 hours so expecting another call and hopefully visit today. Himself got an oil filled radiator which takes the edge off but it's still cold. Makes me really appreciate how awful it is for those who live like that all the time.

Ouch jaxjacky hope you get it fixed soon.

Good morning from a dull northwest coast.
I made more cards yesterday which will have to be New Year cards. They are for the art group who sent me cards and also thank you cards. I enjoy making them, particularly now I have found liquid glitter to put on my paintings, no mess!

DS left after doing a few jobs, fixing the garage door remote, checking the car etc,
I was very late, binge watching a series called Fake on ITVx which held me in its thrall. My heated throw which I love has packed up and I can’t find the guarantee..

Open mic tonight hosted by friend but I might just stay cosy after the Christmas celebrations.

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. Another dark dull day.

Yesterday was depressing. I must make an effort today to either finish something or start another project.

I bought some boots in the sale but after trying them at home I shall have to return them. They are tight.

A late Good Morning from a grey, dry Durham. I thank those GN’s who have PM’d or referred to me in messages. I am devastated and really didn’t want to get out of bed again today. However, I’ve a long standing date with DD2 and DGS2, so no doubt I’ll get more details of the fallout between her sister and herself. It’s all DD1’s fault, I know that, but they are all I have, although it’s very difficult not to take sides.
