I agree with Bluebelle's posts and others. Katie looks so underweight, diminished and somehow empty in her wedding photos- so pitiful. I read that Katie only met her new husband for a week before marrying him in Dubai, with no loved ones or family present. So sad...

I thought similarly, you've described the image so well. She looked almost like a waxwork effigy of herself, devoid of all the characteristics that make a person human. I don't say that in any gloating sense; when I see photo's of women (and occasionally, men) who have had extensive cosmetic surgery resulting in, sometimes, an almost grotesque representation of their sex - I feel despair and wonder what it is that drives them to such extremes.
Is it fear of the ageing process? When you first notice the inevitable signs, it can be quite discouraging, and if you have traded on your looks to validate yourself - and earn a living - the temptation to undergo yet more surgery to mitigate the inescapable process of ageing would, I imagine, be intense. A compelling need to be forever young.
Is she emotionally and mentally secure about the prospect of irrelevance in older age when her looks fade? I don't think she is. Will Lee Andrews be there for her as she navigates the gradual decline, to help her 'embrace' the autumn years when the public begin to say, "Katie who?" Or is he a bit of a 'Jack-The-Lad?
And why do I even care? I've always had a bit of a 'thing' about the pressure on women - and especially on female celebrities - by that section of society that judges them by their appearance, noting every detail and willing - via the media - to watch the fall from grace without sympathy, and sometimes with glee.
I genuinely hope she has the inner strength to deal with whatever comes next.
