I was way behind then kitty I thought you had had gallbladder surgery.
I am sorry you needed further surgery and hope you are recovered well. Ageing certainly isn’t for wimps, ain’t that the truth?

Just seen your posts, kitty and sending a big hug.
It seems it never rains but it pours.

That made me smile, merlot because the roof men were here today doing things to the lead flashing. So, rain should be ok.

Lots of hugs Kitty, one for each the problems. I hope you can shake off your horrible cold and that your DD is soon recovering.
A spell of decent sunny weather would make us all feel so much better.

Oh Kitty! When I was in hospital many years ago, one of the other patients was in with kidney stones. I was very grateful that I just had appendicitis to cope with because the poor woman was in absolute agony. I hope your dd has some pain relief by now.

I completely missed both of your major operations and I do hope you are on the road to good health again, bar a wretched cold. Xxx

After seeing a doctor, DD was sent home with pain killers and told to cone back today for a scan, blood tests etc. Apparently she is still asleep.

Up date on DD2 - it's not kidney stones. She has an infected gall bladder. She is on iv abs - hoping to avoid surgery.

She could have inherited loads of good things from me - looks, brains, artistic flair etc etc - why pick the gall bladder. Dd3 has had hers removed too.

Painful kitty pleased she’s being treated, hopefully that will work 🤞x

Back in 2015 I had an infected gallbladder. Taken to hospital in agony on Monday and put on an antibiotic drip, kept in hospital and had gallbladder removed on Wednesday. Home on Thursday.

I'm glad to have read that blossoming managed a longer walk than usual. Hope you can continue this well, bloss.

soop was positively chirpy in her message yesterday as the nurse who came to take bloods got some on the second attempt! This is highly unusual for soop's reluctant veins apparently. soop was about to enjoy a cup of Horlicks.

I've had a hobble-de-hee day. Minor scoliosis sometimes has a bit of a fit and I strained my back just putting my socks on this morning 🙄. Painkillers and Keep Moving are the only cure so I had to keep getting up from my desk at work and hobbling up and down a corridor.

As a fellow back pain sufferer you have my sympathy, it’s hard to move around when it hurts, but it’s the only way to ease it.

Thanks for updating us baggs. I hope your back pain subsides. I'm glad Soop is a bit chirpy.
Today I dropped off the boys then did a shop at aldi before heading home. Then a lovely two hour nap after being unwell in the night. The boys have gone; dgs1 to football training and dgs2 to finish his chicken nuggets at home. I'm chilling on the couch while I decide what to eat. Chicken fajitas were planned but I don't feel up to the spice. Possibly a roll on cold meat. Then an early night. Take care all

DH had his scans today.Most of the time he is very stoic.He has lots of things going on and mostly copes well but, he suffers badly with scan anxiety hopefully not long for results.
