Deeds to a commercial property

If you have the Land Registry Certificate you don't need the deeds. The property on the Land Registry should have been put in your name when you inherited, if not you need the probate document (and possibly your father's will) to do it. Deeds can be useful for information purposes but no longer needed to show ownership if the property is registered.

Just call in to your village solicitor and have a chat to the receptionist, or whoever is there, they are normally very helpful and will probably give you general advice as to how to proceed together with their charges for doing the legal work for you (they'll just deduct it from the end sale).
