This is catastrophic for Beatrice and Eugenie. The poor young ladies!

They were 19 and 20 in July at the time Ferguson took them to lunch with Epstein, on his release from a Florida jail, after serving 12 months for soliciting a child for prostitution. It was less than a week after his release .
Surely old enough to say No, I don’t want to be in the same room as that man?
They have also benefited (and not only in their childhood) from all the moolah their parents scrounged, begged, borrowed or stole.
My pity is somewhat limited.

This is a woman with no filter, no shame and little dignity.

Imagine hearing that your Mum had told people you were away on a "shagging weekend".

Exactly! And what kind of mother takes her daughters to visit a convicted paedophile days after his release from prison?

What is it with these wealthy people that they can’t manage their wealth.

She obviously didn't have the capability - nor, probably, the 'enthusiasm' to live within her reduced means after the divorce settlement.

I believe she was given an annual allowance of £15,000 pa, plus £500,000 to purchase a house, a lump sum of around £350,000 and her daughters had a trust fund set up for them by the late Queen. Andrew paid for the girls' education.

She was expected to get a job to support herself - and deal with her personal debt which was quite hefty... 3/4 £million I think.

If she'd knuckled down and attempted an ordinary 9-5 job - a modest apartment - I think she could've managed quite well, in spite of the debt but obviously she wanted the life-style she'd been accustomed to. A sense of entitlement?

It's hard to feel any sympathy when so many people struggle on so much less... and the way she spoke about one of her daughters in an email was appalling.

They’re just appalling people, no other word will do.

One newspaper carried the story of Sandringham staff choosing to work or not for Andrew, did this come from ‘sources close to’ !

Chocolatelovinggran Thu 05-Feb-26 09:00:50

Well, that is interesting news, GrannyGravy. Perhaps it would be good for Mr Mountbatten Windsor to learn how to scramble his own eggs, and do his own laundry. He can arrange his own teddies on the bed to his exacting standards.

You can be more than one thing. Greedy, needy, grabby.

Lots of people have appalling circumstances and health and they dig deep and find resilience.

GrannyGravy13 Thu 05-Feb-26 08:49:51

My sympathies are with the victims along with the Princess’s Beatrice and Eugenie.

How embarrassing and heartbreaking for them to see their parents dodgy life choices spread over the front pages and on every news bulletin.

The staff at Sandringham have been told they do not have to work for PA if they do not want to 👏👏👏👏👏. Let’s hope they all refuse and he has to fend for himself…

ViceVersa Thu 05-Feb-26 08:43:02

The emails referring to her daughters are almost worse than the begging ones!

Fallingstar Thu 05-Feb-26 08:40:13

How simply dreadful for poor Eugenie and Beatrice, Andrew and Fergie deserve each other but their children don’t deserve to have them as parents.

nanna8 Thu 05-Feb-26 08:31:42

Ghastly grabbing woman who was married to a ghastly pervy man. Not sure I want to hear anything more about either of them, be good if they disappeared in a puff of smoke.

So true it’s pathetic. I truly wonder how much longer we’ll have a monarchy.

Vintagewhine Thu 05-Feb-26 08:25:30

She's totally cringe worthy. Yes they were made for each other I hope they disappear into complete obscurity and if AMW has committed crimes I hope he ends up in court.

Esmay
Sarah's over eating and over spending indicate a deeply troubled person.
It is very sad

Or just a very greedy person.

MartavTaurus Thu 05-Feb-26 08:03:45

Why does anybody put stuff like that in writing? Or even in a letter? It's there forever.
First rule ....... never put on paper!

How humiliating to have past cries for help made public. They do say you should be careful who you make friends with. Certainly true in this case.

mae13 Thu 05-Feb-26 04:14:39

I don't suppose she ever expected them to see the light of day.

But why didn't she try and reign in her spending? And was she in such a bad way financially that she had no option but to email grovelling requests for money to a convicted and infamous paedophile?

Looks like she and Mr Mountbatten-Windsor have deserved each other all along.
