Good morning, Michael and all GNs where it’s not light, but there is a tinge of fire in the eastern sky. I think the forecast is mixed today. It was lovely yesterday but I spent most of the afternoon in the library with the writers group.

Today I will join the usual Thursday morning walking group and then have lunch with DD. I have a hair appointment this afternoon so won’t be able to call in on my niece. We are like ships that pass in the night at the moment.

My neighbour had a badger in her garden yesterday!

Have the best day you can, folks.

baubles, it occurred to me that the postponement of your DH’s operation might have been due to shortage of “cement”.
I’m so pleased that that he’s having it today. All the best.

Best of luck to your DH baubles. Hope all goes without a hitch now.🙏🏻

Good morning from Malta where it is to be sunny and 20°C.

Yesterday was a beautiful day so Milo dog and I enjoyed our walk in the sun. I realise how unfit I am though as the uphill bits were an effort! Good thing I had the dog to pull me along, he’s small but strong!😄

DD3 picked the dog up at 3pm, dropped the boys off and went to her class. She’s taken on another degree course.

The boys were in lovely moods and I enjoyed having them. Their daddy collected them at 5pm.

I’m meeting a friend for coffee this morning, I wish it was a bit later as I feel worn out despite having slept fairly well. I don’t know why I feel so tired these days.

Lovely photo Ashcombe, doesn’t it lift your spirits to see those beautiful flowers. Spring is in the air!

Wishing you all a good day.☀️

Good morning from soggy South Lanarkshire. More rain forecast for today.

Mick, I’m sorry to hear that you’re struggling with your mobility just now, I do hope it improves so you can enjoy the better weather when it comes.

Wonder of wonders, DH had a call from the hospital yesterday afternoon to say that there was a space today if he’d be willing to take it. He snatched up the offer so his knee replacement surgery is going ahead, barring disasters between now and then. His admittance time is 7.30 am and although he is fasting he’s making fresh coffee for me just now.

I’ll have a day pottering around the house and dog walking between showers.

My best wishes to all for a good day, especially those carrying heavy burdens just now.

Good morning from a dry but breezy Torbay.

Yesterday was quite Spring like with a few hours of sunshine to lift our spirits. Each year, the sight of these daffodils and crocuses in the park opposite my home are a delight and attract several amateur photographers, including me!

At Wednesday Club, we reviewed last week's performances of The Ghost Train and it was good to see a few members of the cast and crew including the director who gave us some interesting background information about how the production took shape.

I hope you soon regain your original mobility, Mick so you can continue your outings.

Thoughts with all those for whom life is a struggle at the moment. 🦩🥰🦩💐🦩

Good morning from a dry Bristol. Looks like spring has sprung!
I’m sorry you are having mobility problems, Mick, I trust they will be resolved soon.
The FAB cafe had 20 attendees. It’s getting almost too successful. Unfortunately, two of the 3 AgeUK volunteers, the ones who do the chatting, couldn’t come, but it still went well.
The lunch I was going to went well too, the food was nice but portions huge. It took place at the Bristol Golf Club which had fabulous views across the Bristol Channel, Severn bridge and Wales.
I was very tired (and full!) when I got home and sat for the rest of the day, just having a small cup of soup and some yoghurt in the evening.
Just t’ai chi today, the dinner with DD and family. Must finish my Spanish homework for tomorrow.
May you all have a gentle day, especially fgt/urms 🌺 at this very sad and hard time.

Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but dry outside and maybe a bit chilly out there in Brackley .
Up to my usual routine with the bus journey to Bicester to shop etc ,might do two runs if I am up to it , I have been struggling when walking this last few days ,seem to be having a bad patch .
Its making me think twice about going on coach day trips if I struggling when walking .
Health OK otherwise .
Take Care,
Mick
