Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but dry outside and maybe a bit chilly out there in Brackley .
Up to my usual routine with the bus journey to Bicester to shop etc ,might do two runs if I am up to it , I have been struggling when walking this last few days ,seem to be having a bad patch .
Its making me think twice about going on coach day trips if I struggling when walking .
Health OK otherwise .
Take Care,
Mick
So happy to hear all well madeleine.
Glad all is well, madeleine45.
Glad to hear that you are ok Madeleine
Pleased to hear you are ok and had a good trip
Glad you’re ok madeleine 😅
Phew Madeleine pleased you’re ok, your trip out sounds delightful.
hallo Mick and all GN's in case anyone reads this late in the afternoon. I have been away, lost the cable for the laptop, couldnt use the phone where I was etc etc., but am back and will be hopefully joining in in the morning. But despite all the varying hassles I had a most lovely journey home, driving down my beloved Swaledale with black Soay sheep with 5 lambs, another field with white lambs and sheep and further along a flock of Jacobs. On top of that , wonderful to see carpets of snowdrops showing through woods as there is no leaves on the trees yet and then came home with just two sprigs of hazel catkins to cheer the day, mad rush to the whist drive and only arrived home at 10.30pm! Hope you have all had a good day
LucyAnna5 Thank you.
Thank you everyone for your messages of sympathy, they are much appreciated. I’m helping my nieces by contacting some of the people in my sis in law’s address book to let them know what’s happened. So a quiet day, but helpful as I’m also dog sitting!
md I hope that your DdiL can be treated at home for this latest problem.

I'm a lurker on this particular thread but I was wondering if anyone had noticed or knew the reason why RosesandLilac is missing?

Hollysteers I have given another poster the benefit of my extensive (!) medical experience re cramps especially at night
1) There is a definite link to dehdydration- and alcohol consumption the night before - drink at least a pint of water before bed
2) take magnésium tablets
3) if you can make it as far as the microwave, a wheatpack provides almost instant relief
Works for me!
A very late good morning from a damp northwest coast. A very late night after drinks with pals after the opera co. rehearsal in the city followed by severe cramp through the night. I know Madeleine suffers with cramp too and hope she is ok.
The lunchtime concert yesterday was excellent and a good turnout. Probably because it’s milder.
Sorry you are having health problems Mick and thoughts to all🌺
Good morning everyone from rainy Lancashire.
I’m not feeling very well at the moment, just doing my best to get through each day. MrB and I have been for a walk around the Dock suitably dressed for the weather! There are daffodils flowering by the woodland path.
Wishing you a good day whatever you’re doing.
A quick good morning from the west midlands. A busy day taking downsizing stuff to charity shop, a bit worried as I have a load of fab books but lately the charity shops don't seem to want them? Strange, because a lot of my best books have come from a root-around in the charity shop? Is it due to e-readers perchance? Best wishes to all & may everyone have the best day possible. 🌞🌝🌞
RosesMaw, karma said she would drop in and out. But I'm another who is missing Madeleine. I hope she's ok. Marydoll your poor dil.
Good morning all from N Bucks where Spring seems to have disappeared again. All those poor little daffodils flowering so bravely probably wish they had waited a bit.
Perhaps I should have gone to Specsavers, but has anybody seen anything of Karma or Madeleine this morning?
hope all is well.
Warm wishes for the TKR and the other procedures today , to Marydoll’s DIL and all who may need a handhold.
Good morning everyone from a grey east coast.
I need to stay in today until a parcel for DH arrives. He has a long day at work. I was hoping to go to a nearby town where they have a market and there is a fully gluten free baked goods stall. I fancy some gluten free quiche. I thought I’d incorporate a walk while there but might not get there now depending on Royal Mail.
Usual afternoon making DGSs Thursday cake and picking him up. I’ll put a chicken and butternut squash curry in the slow cooker this morning.
Lots to mention today so I just want to send best wishes to everyone this morning whatever you are going through with family worries. Thinking of you all but inbetween hoping there will be sparks of joy🌼
Good Morning all from a cloudy south coast. Yesterday was glorious all day but it did fall chilly in the evening.
We are waiting for the car to be collected for a service and MOT. The garage is too far away to walk back from, or to, and their free pick up and delivery service is much appreciated. Our mileage is low as DH goes everywhere on his bike on solo trips so the car is only used when I am going somewhere. I am a real home bird these days as travel is uncomfortable with my arm problem.
Choir last night was still poorly attended. I counted 12 missing regulars. The heating goes off before 8pm so lots of coats were being put on as the evening progressed. Also, our MD has been in post for all the 14 years since the choir was
formed and I think she is stale and repetitive. My belief is that this has started to show in poor attendances.
Kind thoughts to all in need especially FGT and her family at this sad time.
Good morning from a grey NE, rain forecast for the rest of the day.
Sister and BIL are visiting this afternoon and taking me shopping, I have a couple of tops to collect that were ordered online.
I spent half an hour in the garden and got to talk to my neighbour, not seen or spoken to her since the autumn.
Have the best day you can.
Sorry to hear your sad news Redcar. My condolences to you and your family 💐
Thank you all for the best wishes for MrJ. I am not long home now. Amazed how busy the roads are at 7am!
Hoping MrB's Op goes well too
Good morning Mick and everyone from a cloudy and damp Carlisle. Another grim, dark and wet day ahead listening to the forecast.
I hope your walking improves Mick and, if not, can the docs do anything? The tedious, increasing servicing of our aging bodies!!
Yesterday was a quiet day, I did a pile of ironing and that was it. I have a mildish chest infection no doubt picked up on my long flight and it's making me feel tired.
Today, it's into town shortly for an eye test where I hope no problems are discovered. Possibly it's just a matter of a better reading lamp for the evenings.
I've got a bag of books for the charity shop and will probably inspect M&S.
Rain forecast for the afternoon so it will be reading not gardening sadly.
Wishing you all a pleasant and dry day!
Good morning from Leicestershire.
The quiz went well yesterday at my house - there were 11 of us.
This morning the car is going in to the garage to have the battery replaced. Toyota are doing it as a ‘good will gesture’ despite it being under warranty. I believe they are having problems with their batteries.
I hope all the medical procedures go well this morning- great news Baubles.
I am so sorry to hear your DiL is so poorly again Marydoll and I hope you survive today!
Wishing everyone the best day possible,
Morning from a dry but dull S Hants, yesterday was glorious with sun nearly all day.
Best wishes to the Mr’s J and B for their ops today.
I have a podiatrist coming later today to cut my toenails, something I never thought I’d have.
Pretty view for you Ashcombe
