My darling girl & her husband arrived yesterday with a gift "to be enjoyed later". Guess what was in the bag ?
A baby cardigan! So happy for them and can't wait for the cuddles and fun to begin.

How wonderful for you and what a lovely way to break the good news! I’m so pleased for you all.

That’s lovely.
The surprise for me was seeing yesterday called Mothering Sunday, which is what it was. My mother insisted that our cards must say Mothering Sunday, not the American Mother’s Day and I’ve continued the custom.
My daughters have to find cards with the correct words, which they say is easier now than a few years ago.
