Good morning from Malta where another day of showers is forecast with a high of 13°C. Had to put the heater on yesterday I was so cold. 🥶

Managed to keep the cat and dog apart yesterday then had DGS1 after school while his mum and brother went shopping. He wanted to stay with Nana, bless him.

I bought him a small book about dinosaurs a while ago and he carries it everywhere with him. He knows a lot of the names, I had no idea just how many different ones there were. You live and learn!

Today I’ve got no demands on my time which is how I like it. I shall definitely do some cleaning as the floors are messy after yesterday’s rain. I can see little paw marks everywhere!

Have a good day folks.🤗

Good morning from s somerset, sunny, windy and cool

A perfect day to dry the lanes and especially needed for the whole area near me. There is at least another month of work on the road. All the stoic residents are just starting to crack, me included, it has been very restrictive to all of us

The 4th knitted top is now almost dry on my precious jumper board, which does a grand job of blocking. My fingers need a break from knitting so I will sew again. Slow mo sewing and in collaboration with my wardrobe and all the toiles in it. It will be one in and more than one out

I am enjoying a book at the moment so will continue that today and will make a batch of lentil patties, this time with pre-roasted squash from my freezer and using my imagination for additions

Good morning from a calm and dry Torbay following a chilly day yesterday.

You made me smile with your sock and duster comment, grandMattie!

I have a busy few days coming up as Blithe Spirit opened at our theatre last night, and I shall see it this evening while doing Front of House duty. DH is due to arrive from France tomorrow evening and we are going to see Don Quixote performed by the Birmingham Royal Ballet in Plymouth on Thursday.

This morning, I shall attend the usual props team session at the theatre. One of the team is the props person for this week's production so we shall hear how it went last night.

“May all your troubles be little ones,” as my late darling Dad used to say!

Good morning from a dry Bristol.
I’m feeling better every day, though, naturally, taking time to bounce back to my usual (smug) good health.
The WI meeting yesterday was quieter than expected. Despite one very longstanding member accusing the committee of having been underhand, the membership was stunned at the news. It seems that, as no one will sign the form, our particular institute very sadly will probably close.
If that is what they want, we may set up a similar group, but not under the aegis of the WI. The committee is meeting here on Friday. Watch this space.
I’m supposed to have an empty today. Ha! The usual laundry, baking for tomorrow, etc.
My lovely pc man is calling, to remotely fix a silly little glitch on my pc, at lunchtime.
I might have time to go town to get a new ironing board cover mine is falling apart due to overuse - with patchwork, not excessive sock and duster ironing, you understand…
I’m delighted to have finished knitting the body of my fair isle jumper; just the sleeves to do now. The winter will be over before I can wear it! Pity.
Hope everyone’s day is bright. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩
