Soops place of refuge and friends

What sad news. My condolences to all who loved her. I, too, have had such kindness from dearest Soop over the years. We never met but she’s still a kind friend who I shall dearly miss as we kept in touch until a few weeks ago. Her lovely paintings of my late dogs and cat will have a more poignant meaning now. Rest in Peace lovely lady, your darling Mr Soop is going to be bereft. I’m so, so sorry.😞

Just read the news about Soop. Sending love to her family and all of the kitcheners.
She will be missed dearly, and remembered always, not least through her wonderful kitchen.

I to have only just seen the news from Baggs.
I am remembering dear Soop's generous spirit and her great kindness. It seems such a short time ago that Soop was painting portraits of dogs and cats for grans.

Oh no - I’ve just logged into GN and am so sad to hear about our dearest Soop. It is a great loss to Gransnet though of course a much greater loss to her dear family. My sympathies to them all, they are in my thoughts.

Haven’t posted in the kitchen for a long time now but could not ignore the sad news about soop whose kindness was so evident to all around her. She generously offered to paint my favourite “grand dog” at a time when I had a lot family worries. It meant a lot. Condolences to all who loved her, especially her dear man. Rest in peace dear soop, you’ll not be forgotten.
