Just that really ! Have you got an Easter egg or similar? Did you buy it for yourself or did someone treat you ?
I'm trying not to have too much choc so I've a small bag of mini eggs I bought for myself.I'm TRYING to save them until Sunday and I know I shall be disappointed that I haven't a nice big egg to fall on grin

I love a beautiful egg and remember saving up for them for my parents when I was a girl. Those were something to behold. Really fabulous with netting and velvet flowers or gorgeous piping...

Have actually sent 3 lovely eggs at riduculous expense to the Philippines for my son and family and have bought and wrapped four other beautiful eggs for the "Easter Rabbit" to be generous and jolly with my adult children - and seven golden rabbits for our grandchildren - two dark four milk and one white.
...like M0nica I don't think The Rabbit will miss me out!
grin

I love this little moment of kindness, warmth and generosity- even though I'm not a chocolate fan!

I’m at my sons atm, cat sitting, he’s left me an Easter egg, and I’ve already eaten it, delicious 😀

I bought myself a Thornton Easter egg when doing my supermarket shop. I’ve been poorly and decided I need a treat.

Nothing cheers you up more than chocs and flowers 💐

You bet I have an Easter egg! I bought one for me, DP and for all close family, that way I get one I like.
I have to work today and Sunday but will save it for Monday, a day off when I can eat it while reading a good book in the evening.
During the day I will be hosting family and cooking.😃

Hope you're feeling better Iam; enjoy your treat.

We don’t buy many Easter eggs. We give the Grandchildren a small money gift so they have some spending money whilst they are out and about.
I may buy a small one for DH but he knows not to buy me one. I only like rather expensive chocolate and being Type2 diabetic , to have one in the house would be too much of a temptation, I’d want to eat it all at once.
I do have a small Easter display on the hall table and there is a pretty bowl with small wrapped chocolate eggs the anyone can help themselves from.

Easter bunny here too. I’ve bought a Galaxy egg for SinL2 and an M&S pistachio offering for DD2. DD1 and her DH are getting alcohol instead, at their request. My DGSs will get (too many) chocolate eggs from various sources, so I persuaded them to have a bag of mini eggs from me, with a voucher from Smyth’s Toyshop.

Well, having seen my username, need you ask..?

Have you tried a Ferrero Rocher Easter egg cornergran?
The shell is quite a treat.

cornergran Fri 03-Apr-26 23:24:04

There are two small Easter eggs each here, added to the weekly grocery order so not a gift. There is also a large box of Ferraro Rocher which we love. I usually have dark chocolate but make an exception for Easter. Nothing like an Easter egg.

Family-wise the youngest has a small egg and a book, the older two a medium sized egg each and that’s it, we no longer buy for the adults.

No, not bothered, but ~I adore toasted hot cross buns much more.

I don't buy them for DGC, as they have plenty from other sources big time

in my family its always been parent and grandparents buying for children not the other way around.

It's a shared lunch at Quakers on Sunday and I'm just hoping that G makes one of his fab cakes....

We went supermarket weekly shopping this morning and bought a small Wispa one for me and a small Crunchie one for DH. I think the Easter egg chocolate has a better flavour than chocolate bars.

I’m the Easter bunny for our family and always buy for our three offspring and their partners, the six grandsons, DH and myself. I’ve chosen a white chocolate creme egg one for me this year, then DH and I will have an extra popping candy one to share as I decided it was too big for the littlest grandson and bought him a chocolate bunny instead. I don’t eat much sweet stuff but am looking forward to indulging this weekend. smile

TillyTrotter Fri 03-Apr-26 22:15:36

I’ve received one Easter egg from a friend and
it’s a favourite of mine - Ferrero Rocher (nutty choc shell).
I bought one for DH (one of his favourites)
a Toblerone Egg.

We have been firm this year and decided not to buy eggs for the adults. However I went to an Easter celebration at an Italian deli and bought myself a proper Italian egg in all its pretty wrapping paper.

M0nica Fri 03-Apr-26 21:47:49

Easter, like Christmas, comes but once a year, so a few days indulgence however rigourous your personal fitness regime is unlikely to do long term hsarm to anyone.

I actually do not like chocolate very much but I will be seriously miffed if no Easter eggs come my way on Easter Sunday. They will get eaten over the following week and that will probably be the last sweets I eat until Christmas.

swampy1961 Fri 03-Apr-26 21:44:42

No, but everyone knows I don't like chocolate!

BoggledMind Fri 03-Apr-26 21:06:23

My wife and I has just had a Cadbury creme egg each. I don't usually eat chocolate but we haven't had these for years.

Jaxjacky Fri 03-Apr-26 20:46:10

Unlikely as I’m not bothered about chocolate.
