Just that really ! Have you got an Easter egg or similar? Did you buy it for yourself or did someone treat you ?
I'm trying not to have too much choc so I've a small bag of mini eggs I bought for myself.I'm TRYING to save them until Sunday and I know I shall be disappointed that I haven't a nice big egg to fall on grin

I won’t know until Sunday.

I jolly well hope so! 🐣🥙😂

That made me laugh Merlotgran !

I buy Easter eggs for the GC, but no one gives me any. I used to buy for the AC too, but stopped that this year. It’s getting far too expensive and the adults are so health and weight-conscious.
I bought myself a bag of mini eggs. I love them

Yes so do I CrazyH but I only bought a small bag, and when I was unpacking them from my shopping I could feel through the bag and estimate I'll be lucky if there are eight to ten of them in the bag...WEEP !!!

Not bring much of a chocolate fan I’ve not had one for at least 40 years. It’s been quite a long time since I’ve bought one for others. Older GCs have had sweet things rationed and don’t have a sweet tooth. Of the younger 2 one would live on only sweet snacks if she could; the other doesn’t have a sweet tooth. Perhaps we should exchange cheese instead 😂

No. Wanted one that said ‘happy Easter’ for my friend who in her 80s, has dementia.
Couldn’t find one!

JamesandJon33 Fri 03-Apr-26 19:27:24

I expect my DD will give me one

Smileless2012 Fri 03-Apr-26 19:27:55

We each have a chocolate Easter Bunny brought over this afternoon from our lovely neighbours smile.

BlueBelle Fri 03-Apr-26 19:40:26

Not a chocolate fan at all, so I got some Turkish delight and my daughter who has stopped eating chocolate got some dates and pukka tea bags 🤣

Witzend Fri 03-Apr-26 19:42:27

I’ve bought one for dh. Don’t know whether he’ll get me one, he will if he remembers. TBH I’d just as soon have a multipack of KitKats…

Cossy Fri 03-Apr-26 19:47:46

No! But I have bought them for our kids and GS and DH (I asked them not to get me one!) x

crazyH Fri 03-Apr-26 19:48:52

Oh I just remembered - my GS’s gf brought me a chocolate bunny a few days ago 😂

Fallingstar Fri 03-Apr-26 19:56:39

No I don’t really like Easter eggs, prefer a nice bar of chocolate. But we don’t do Easter. Usually we buy the GCs a puzzle or a book, my DDs are not in favour of the children having sweet things.

We buy ourselves a box of Lindt chocolates (the red ones)

Prefer them to eggs

keepingquiet Fri 03-Apr-26 20:05:28

I bought myself a chocolate orange minty egg and some mini after-eight eggs. My DD has sent me one but it is still in its box. Nothing wrong with treating yourself and others.

winterwhite Fri 03-Apr-26 20:13:06

Yes, though sharing with DH. Think it a bit sad and getting things out of proportion if children are deprived of an Easter egg because of anti sugar rules. For heaven’s sake….

pably15 Fri 03-Apr-26 20:17:55

I bought some mini eggs, alas ...that was last week, so had to buy some more this week...I have started on one bag as we speak...smartie eggs,,,there are about 25 in the bag...not now though..

Dylis Fri 03-Apr-26 20:21:14

I have a Smartie egg every year. It never tastes as nice as I remember but I always manage to finish it!

J52 Fri 03-Apr-26 20:33:15

Some from our GCs and ACs, and some lint Ning eggs and bunnies from a friend. It might take some time to work through them!

J52 Fri 03-Apr-26 20:33:57

Lindt mini eggs! What auto correct up to!

Jaxjacky Fri 03-Apr-26 20:46:10

Unlikely as I’m not bothered about chocolate.

BoggledMind Fri 03-Apr-26 21:06:23

My wife and I has just had a Cadbury creme egg each. I don't usually eat chocolate but we haven't had these for years.

swampy1961 Fri 03-Apr-26 21:44:42

No, but everyone knows I don't like chocolate!

M0nica Fri 03-Apr-26 21:47:49

Easter, like Christmas, comes but once a year, so a few days indulgence however rigourous your personal fitness regime is unlikely to do long term hsarm to anyone.

I actually do not like chocolate very much but I will be seriously miffed if no Easter eggs come my way on Easter Sunday. They will get eaten over the following week and that will probably be the last sweets I eat until Christmas.
