Just that really ! Have you got an Easter egg or similar? Did you buy it for yourself or did someone treat you ?
I'm trying not to have too much choc so I've a small bag of mini eggs I bought for myself.I'm TRYING to save them until Sunday and I know I shall be disappointed that I haven't a nice big egg to fall on grin

Last year when spending a few days up north we came across a shop selling lovely hand made chocolates. Having looked at the website I treated us both to an egg each from there. Well actually it’s half an egg with your choice of truffles. I have marzipan and DH has Turkish delight. Looking forward indulging tomorrow. I also purchased some Easter bits from them for DS and DIL.

Have enclosed a photo.

Ooh look delicious & Say Happy Easter!
Couldn’t find any with an Easter message.

I’m at my sons atm, cat sitting, he’s left me an Easter egg, and I’ve already eaten it, delicious 😀

Giggle...hard to resist, and you know, you've done a public service really, preventing the cat from getting it etc grin

Of course, we all know cats get sick if they eat too much chocolate🤣

No but I bought myself a lovely box of handmade chocolates.

Yes hubby always buys me one. We enjoy it together.

I’ve never got myself and Easter egg, but I did get a box of crème eggs when i say they were half price in Lidl and have already eaten them.

My AC never liked Easter egg chocolate, neither do my DGC, I don’t bother at all..

No, but then I'm trying to lose weight. We bought an Easter egg for our youngest granddaughter, and a box of luxury chocolates for the teenage grandchildren.

DD2 and family have just left. They brought me Hotel Chocolate dark chocolate batons and a box of their bunny heads. It’ll take me weeks to get through those.

The F & M eggs look just up my street NotSpaghetti must be popular as I see they are sold out,

We bought the choccies together on the understanding that I have first dibs and majority ownership.

Labradora Sat 04-Apr-26 19:07:36

No but I've got a box of lovely choccies which is smaller so in theory better for me as the OH will also eat some of them.
🤣😊

I'm having the family to easter lunch so I have bought everyone an Aldi chocolate bunny. Including me

I think the F&M one, is quite reasonable

I bought myself a Thornton Easter egg when doing my supermarket shop. I’ve been poorly and decided I need a treat.

You did just the right thing Iam64, and I hope you are feeling better, too. 💐

Ziplok Sat 04-Apr-26 18:37:10

Yes, my DH bought one for me and I’ve bought one for him and a dear friend gave us one as a thank you for something we did for her.
I know they are an indulgence, that you get more chocolate per penny if you buy a bar of chocolate, but Easter wouldn’t be quite the same, would it?
Childish, I know, but I also love the crack the halves make when you break them 😂😂.

What about this Sodapop?

Will find out tomorrow 🐥 🐇

No Easter eggs but my husband bought me some nougat covered in dark chocolate which I much prefer. I invariably find eggs have inferior chocolate and I am disappointed in them.

Not bring much of a chocolate fan I’ve not had one for at least 40 years. It’s been quite a long time since I’ve bought one for others. Older GCs have had sweet things rationed and don’t have a sweet tooth. Of the younger 2 one would live on only sweet snacks if she could; the other doesn’t have a sweet tooth. Perhaps we should exchange cheese instead 😂

Ha ha yes, I'd be happy to accept cheese in place of chocolate, or if I'm really truthful..AS WELL !!!

I don’t know, we only give Easter Eggs on Easter Day.

NotSpaghetti Sat 04-Apr-26 10:35:37

My lovely mother-in-law always gave a book voucher to her great grandchildren.
I wondered if I should have done that on her behalf this year as she has sadly died.
