A quick good morning from a shattered me. I got home at 1am, after spending most of the day in A&E with DH.
I thought my BP monitor was broken, so I bought a new one. It wasn't!! I took his BP as soon as it arrived, and knew he needed intervention.
When they took his BP in hospital, it was 241/119! The nurse looked at me and nodded, saying I had done the right thing. DH was totally oblivious to the seriousness.
We had Babydoll and I couldn't get a hold of anyone. My children work in jobs, where their phones are off. I was so stressed.
Babydoll was a wee star, cuddling into Papa and keeping him calm, until her parents arrived.
I had tried phoning my surgery for advice, they were under emergency measures yesterday, couldn't speak to someone, NHS 111 were no better.
I was upstairs phoning in secret!
They cannot get DH's BP down, so he is in an acute medical ward,
The consultant was astounded that he has never been on medication and hadn't seen a GP in over thirty years.
My husband received fantastic care in such a stressful environment, with patients lined up in corridors on trolleys. All the scans are clear and they have no idea, what is causing it.
However, it seems to have been going on for a while and partly explains his erratic and angry behaviour.
My children thought I had been exagerrating his mood swings.
The staff were so kind and realised, I wasn't too well either.
One nurse made me tea and found sandwiches for me, another walked me to my car at 1am, they said they didn't want me in A&E too. ♥️
I now have a list of orders, before I head back up.
I was supposed to take DIL to the same hospital today, she now has had to ask her father.
When I messaged my friends this morning, to tell them, they already knew.
DIL's father had been messaging the neighbours last night! He is a busybody.🤬
Must go. I am missing my early morning cuppa and painkillers, brought by the butler.
Glad the party went well, Bella. Good luck with the car, *Ash!
Enjoy your day, folks
