Same as you and I used to be such an extrovert! Not anymore...Much prefer dogs to people.

Negative people, phishers, bullies, smokers and bossy people.

Travelling during peak times. Shopping on Saturday.

Going out after seven o’clock. Steep downhill slopes. Company in the evenings. Large meals. Cleaning and polishing the outside of my boat (it needs re-painting, it looks dreadful 😱). Going shopping - something I used to love and could ‘shop ‘til I dropped’ but now I’ve had enough after half an hour 😆. Goodness, that’s quite a list!

Escalators going down. I don't know if it's my age or my glasses, but I can't cope with stepping on to those moving steps. I'm fine going up.
Also driving at night. I just get blinded by the headlights.

I love people and I am busy starting to build new social networks in the town we moved to last year. It is 70 miles from our previous home, so no carry-over.

The news.
I look at the headlines on my iPad but don’t listen to the never-ending news reports on Radio 4. It’s like school history lessons - wars and politics, wars and politics.
I haven’t many years left and am not wasting time on anything nasty if I can avoid it.

Anywhere where there are no toilets.
Having to stay away from home.
Funeral adverts.
People who tell me they are going to vote Reform.

Confrontation, both in person and with strangers on the internet.

Worrying about things outside my control, feeling obliged to have an opinion on complex matters when full facts are unknown and information sources are all biased. I tend to see both sides of an argument and think that no one single answer suits the problem.
Oh, and idiots!

I am intolerant of mean people these days the ones who are just miserly but have money. I spend mine and enjoy doing lots of different activities. I don’t get the retirees who won’t have a coffee out, or treat themselves. HMRC and their offspring will enjoy spending it after they have gone, more years behind us than in front of us. At 64 I know that if I am still here in my 80s I won’t won’t/ be able to do as much as I do now.

Parties although I haven't been to one for years. Flying. Driving. Don't do either any more.

Cold weather - give me 80° every day
Equipment at the gym - I do a lot of classes but find the rest pretty boring (unless I’m reading my kindle on a treadmill).
Not an avoidance really but my tolerance levels have plummeted and instead of being a people pleaser I’m very happy to show some belligerence now and then 😁
