Good morning everyone from sunny Lancashire.

It rained heavily here yesterday evening but the sun is back now. More cloud about than recent days. MrB and I have enjoyed a walk around the dock and woodland path. Steam trains are running all weekend.

As always, thinking of those with troubles in their lives.

RosesandLilac, I’m sorry to hear your news but glad you are on the two week path now, rather than being in limbo. Once you know more and start some treatment things will, I hope, be more positive for you.

I’ve got part two of my dental extractions this afternoon - an upper wisdom tooth and a ‘stump’ of a much repaired tooth to come out. Soup and scrambled egg will be about all I can eat for the rest of the weekend 😕.

My GD and her BF are taking me to Grasmere on Tuesday, one night in a hotel there and back on Wednesday evening.
It was a favourite place for my H and me so I’m delighted so many of you love it too

We love Grasmere too and I've spent many a happy hour choosing jigsaws from the vast selection in Barney's Newsbox.
DH has stipulated he wants his ashes scattering at Easedale Tarn, hopefully many years from now.

RosesandLilac, keeping you in my prayers. My MiL had small cell lung cancer successfully treated in her mid 80s. She found making decisions about her treatment harder than the treatment itself.

Hope your meal goes well, FriedGreenTomatoes. Such a lovely idea. Tears don't matter. If you can't cry about losing a loved one, what can you cry about?

A quiet day here. DH has taken the little chap to Tesco to give me chance to get some jobs done.

Good morning from a sunny NE after overnight rain.

Yesterday DD and SIL came for lunch and sat and chatted while we waited for a delivery.
We went to the supermarket and then cooked dinner together.
Today DS and GD2 will visit, brightens my weekend to see them and enjoy the music they play.
