Good morning from the East coast and it’s bright but with a chilly breeze.

Bellasnana how awful for you. 💐 I’m pleased the boys slept well. You will need sleep when they’ve gone home. Hope you feel better today.

I had a difficult night. My uncle has gone back in hospital this is the fifth time since I went to China. He went in the night before last, came out last night at 10pm and three hours later buzzed to say he had chest pains and has gone back in again. I had a message to say could I go and stay with him till the ambulance comes but I missed it. In my jet lagged state I was sound asleep. I wonder if mum got that message too. They will send him back out this afternoon as his heart is fine and his lungs are fine. They can find nothing wrong. He’s 80. The carers and paramedics have a duty of care and off he goes back to hospital! We are in despair with it. DH, mum and I were due to visit him this afternoon at home but won’t be going now if he’s in hospital. Does he enjoy the attention. No one knows. 🤷‍♀️

Wishing everyone a lovely day hopefully with sunshine 🌼
Thoughts to those suffering stress and illness 💐

Good morning Mick and all 🙋‍♀️

No idea what the weather is doing today, I am so fed up with this cold though.

Bellasnana sorry to see your night with the boys was disappointing for you. I hope your head is ok.

No plans today, guinea fowl for dinner tonight.

Safe travels tomorrow FGT 2 😘

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 7° and dry at the moment, but there has been rain in the night. Bellasnana how awful for you! And a bad night's sleep on top of a bump. My sympathy. GrandMattie I don't know how you fit everything in one day. I hope your church appreciates you.
Yesterday I did my usual Saturday housework in the morning. I also went to Aldi to pick up food for the week ahead. They had nice mini watermelons so I got one for dgs1 who loves watermelon. Later I picked up ds at the station and we joined the family for coffee and cake at a local restaurant. The boys were very well behaved (Cake and hot chocolate helped) . We had a nice time except dd was very anxious about dsil who wasn't there because he's unwell. He has a number of health issues and when he is unwell, it often escalates. She asked if I could have the boys for a couple of hours while she took him to the out of hours clinic. So an unexpected gift of time with them for me! They ate me out of house and home and I will need to restock tomorrow. The watermelon has half gone and so have the strawberries (dgs2). Dsil has been given a prescription and the doctor doesnt think the problem is too serious.
Today will be quiet. The ironing will definitely be done today. Apart from that, I have no other plans. Im making fajitas for dinner or burritos, I can't decide. Enjoy your Sunday.

Thank you Ashcombe and grandMattie. Both boys up and having breakfast, happy and all drama forgotten. (Photo of them in their way to Nana’s yesterday in their pjs!)

Good morning from a clear Bristol. Our maximum is due to be13C today. I feel it’s unseasonably cold, but perhaps it isn’t, just me craving a bit of warmth,
My poor bellas, how dreadful for you. It must have been so frightening. And so sad that the planned, lovely sleepover was spoiled. I hope your head is better - lots of arnica on the lump?
How nice for you to be able to sit in the sun, Ash, it must be lovely.
I didn’t have such a good day as I had the dreadful headache of a pre-labyrinthitis attack. Unfortunately, I needed to so a lot of cooking for today.
I roasted chicken legs, made a vegetarian quiche and Bakewell tart for the church lunch this morning, then a coffee traybake and flapjacks for an Alzheimer’s charity to be collected this afternoon.
We’re having the PCC AGM after this morning’s service, then this bring and share lunch. No doubt most people will go home, then come back for lunch…. Ah well!
May you all have a blessed Sunday. 🐦‍🔥 Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩

Good morning from Cornwall where it's raining nicely. Last night I bid for one of my dad's paintings which has appeared online; a very early naive one of rooftops which he loved painting, in his favourite palette knife style.

Today I'll hop on a bus to church then take another bus to my daughter-in-law's new place where for now we've finished painting walls. Phew. Today she's having help to dismantle and move a huge wardrobe and bed. I will just be onlooker/tea maker. 😄

After that I'll hop on a bus towards home to collect a stool I've ordered for my art room. I was supposed to stay in Penzance tonight ahead of my trip to Scilly tomorrow but I've cancelled all of that due to the weather forecast; heavy rain. Much as I love rain I don't want to spend all day getting wet as I wander around the islands. 😆 I can go again when the skies clear.

My ten-year-old granddaughter has a children's Visa card and is learning how to manage money, an invaluable skill, one which I wish I'd learnt at her age. She was telling me all about how the accompanying App works. Out of the mouths of babes...

Now, I’ve read your post, Bellasnana! Poor you! 💐
I hope you soon feel better. Perhaps you should be checked at the hospital?

Good morning from an overcast corner of La Sarthe.

Yesterday it was warm enough for me to sit in the garden and read whilst DH sat and mowed on his lawn tractor for a couple of hours. This was much needed as he’s been away for three weeks during which the mix of rain and sun has encouraged growth!

I hope the twins (and you!) slept well, Bellasnana!

A blessed Sunday to you all.

Good morning from Malta where a windy day is forecast with a high of 24°C.

Thank you for all your lovely comments yesterday.

The boys arrived at 5pm both very excited, and all went well until 8pm when I went to open the sofa bed in their room.

The loop of fabric that you use to pull it open came off and I fell backwards, full force, and whacked my head on the solid wooden toy box.

The boys were both upset as I lay on the floor for a bit and shed a few tears as I was shocked and a bit scared of I’m honest.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, DGS1 was an angel and has slept in his bed all night. DGS2, on the other hand, refused to go to bed and cried for his mum. He finally fell asleep on the sofa and is still there.

I’ve had an awful night, up and down checking on them even though there wasn’t a peep out of either of them.

I’m grateful to have woken up as I’ve a huge lump on the back of my head. I ache all over and am so upset I frightened them and ruined the evening, although we did read lots of stories and had fun before my fall from grace.

Hoping Sunday goes well for you all.☀️

PS. Love your nails FGT😊
