Disappearing contributors - part 2

Apparently GNHQ want us to report, report, report.
I've done so retrospectively so admin can pull them up to check if I'm dealt the same aggro again.

I doubt whether that helps Allira in the slightest. I'm not going to drop my request to reinstate her.

Do people seriously believe that this situation has been brought about by reports to HQ from one particular poster?

I have no idea how this could have happened in that way. People seem to be quite confident now that this is the case, and also who is responsible, but how have they come to this conclusion? I’m now completely baffled.

Because there are a handful of posters on here who live in each other’s pockets. They all contact each other and hit the report button. They did not agree with Allira and a few others amongst us who do not share their very strong opinions on a current situation that shows no indication of improving any time soon.

Thanks Primrose, but now I’m even more confused!! Those of you who are “in the know” possibly don’t realise how mystifying this all is for those of us who aren’t.

I can’t remember the post, but it’s on one of the 2 disappearing poster threads where it mentions that GN has access to your PMs.
Sympathy, complaints, or whatever could all be used against you. I’ve no idea whether that actually happens, but several posters have advised me to delete my PMs after reading.

But that’s just it JamesandJonno one really knows !!!
Except HA seem to think that she Allira had been rude, goady (someone help out I can’t remember all the adjectives) over a number of months ( years) ….which we all know isn’t true

Well my pms are staying where they are mollygo I m not going to be hiding away from HQ like a naughty child or living like I m in North Korea

I doubt HQ will read PMs, unless, possibly, they have been advised that someone is conspiring with others in some way. They will have other things to do. There are far too many members for them to go through all our PMs, and why would they bother? Unless you are actually up to no good, what are they going to find?

I still don't know who is 'in the frame', or why. If this person was banned herself, does she blame Allira for that, and if so, why would she think that? Why, and how, did she orchestrate the ban?

What does 'controlling threads' mean in this context? Or any of the other charges? People are saying that the ban makes no sense, and I understand that; but for many of us the whole thing makes no sense.

What I can tell you is that our other much loved and respected member GSM went the same way and for the same reasons on the same topic. I know that for a fact as she told me herself. Our views and opinions were all the same and we were not afraid to politely say so although we were often very rudely called unfair and untrue names and anything we said which others could misconstrue was reported by the clique.

As a casual poster tho' an inveterate reader of threads I think the fairest way forward would be for all posts to be visible including those reporting. It's absolutely gutless imo to hide behind the skirts of private messaging to the mods.

It's an opinion forum for God's sake & as so many have said not everyone will agree with your opinions. If you're strong minded enough to post at least have the balls to have transparency on all your posts instead of spitefully, secretly spitting out your dummy.

I think the poster should be told who’s reported them & the reason why.

How many of us have asked ourselves what would I do in this situation.
I couldn’t come back as Petra for obvious reasons. The person who reported me is still there and I know that they are protected by the powers that be.
I could come back under the rada but I’ve lost all my friends
The new Petra would have no friends here, no shared experiences etc.
It would be like starting a new school.
Millions of people use social media just to have their say on different subjects but that’s not the case for the majority of members here.
So we are where we are 😥

That’s how I felt Petra when I was locked out.. Like looking through a glass door & all the grans on the other side of that door, but I was being ignored. Felt lonely 🥲

Oh I was going to ask if it was the Israel/Palestine threads but they were after GSM s time, so i assume immigration threads.

What we do know is that they said it wasn't just based on one thread, but on several over a period of time.
