Have you stopped buying papers?

I haven't bought a newspaper for over 10 years and only check newspaper websites occasionally. If I want news, I usually get it from news channels or the internet.
I was at a conference yesterday, and a contributor stated that only 22% of people buy a paper now, compared with 67% 30 years ago. He used to work for the Daily Record and said the paper's circulation has fallen by 80% in the last 30 years.
My main reasons for not buying a paper is they're not particularly cheap, with some costing over £ 2 these days, they stick to a very dated Labour vs Conservative outlook, and are too full of articles about things I have no interest in.

Nope. I haven't read a paper for years, like OP. Neither do I watch the main tv news. I get headlines on line and may look into something which takes my attention. I listen selectively to Radio 4 which have some very informative programmes. Mr Jolly on the other hand reads avidly on line news for about 4 hours over the course of each day.

I stopped buying a daily paper about 20yrs ago but did buy a Sunday paper snd really enjoyed that. When the local post office / shop closed getting any kind of newspaper or magazine became difficult so I stopped buying them. I get the occasional magazine when out grocery shopping. Can read the news on tv etc, far less exspensive! Even the local paper is costly and very sparse.

I buy the Radio Times only. I know I can read it online, but the paper version has been part of my life for so long that I still like to have it.

I look at the Guardian occasionally online, or other papers if they have something that interests me, but I don’t buy the print editions.
