Where would we be without humour?

In a very unfunny place!

We all have different ideas though about what’s humour and what isn’t, so would love to hear yours?

I’ll kick off,

I enjoy some stand up, eg Michael McIntyre, Peter Kay, John Bishop and quite a lot more.

I enjoy political satire such as HIGNFY and Mock the Week.

I loved Victoria Wood’s style of comedy and also when she worked with Julie Walter’s and I like the silliness of French and Saunders. Back in the day I saw Victoria Wood live, and French and Saunders live, both shows highly amusing. I also saw Jack Dee live, his dour-faced humour had us all in stitches.

Dinner Ladies still makes me laugh, as does Only Fools and Horses and Fawlty Towers.

Quite like other sit-coms too, including some of the much older ones like The Good Life.

Actually, many things can make me laugh!

I recommend the Bob Mortimer books too if you like daft smile

Many that have been mentioned, particularly Victoria Wood. I live a thing with Diane Morgan, so looking forward to Ann Droid BBC 1 9.30 tomorrow.

I don’t think humour is dead, following Count Binface is such a typically British humour phenomenon, and has got me captivated at the moment. To Binfinity and Beyond!

I like live comedy, I’ve seen a few big names, I thought Bill Bailey was brilliant, he’s so multi talented.

The best comedy of the 2000s for me was Gavin and Stacey, I’ve watched it so many times but still spot new little bits every time, the writing and sense of timing was phenomenal.
