Good morning, Michael12 and everyone!
Last night and yesterday it was raining again, very windy, big thick dark clouds, and it was sooooo beautiful! I could breathe! The various animals, insects, trees, plants and birds could breathe! And the earth! We all got well wetted!
I watched this amazing film called Fear in the Night, 1972, a Hammer production, mostly filmed in Hertfordshire. Starring Ralph Bates and Judy Geeson, Joan Collins and Peter Cushing.
There was a scene where Molly - Joan - shot a rabbit in the woods, but worry not; while it looked incredibly real, covered in blood, it was actually a prop/puppet. All the 4 main actors are/were big animal lovers and wouldn't agree to a real shooting.
It was very well acted by all 4 of them, loads of unexpected twists and turns, brilliant script writing, gorgeous buildings and grounds and scenery. And at 93 and 77, Joan and Judy are still just as stunningly beautiful now as they were 54 years ago! I was only 7 when it was filmed!
I watched it scoffing a plate of poppadoms, and garlic sauce washed down with a carton of Spar apple juice!
Yesterday at work I got ''viciously attacked'' by a huge and heavy 9 stone Rottweiler! As soon as Stanley saw me sitting behind the counter, he came running in, I sat on the floor at the front with my back to the counter, and we kissed and cuddled and played while his dad was picking out a bracelet, a drinks flask and a wallet for himself.
I was kissing his head and put my hands around his gorgeous face and kissed him on the nose, stroked his ears, rubbed his belly, stroked his glorious soft silky fur, told him how handsome he is and how much I love him to bits! He flopped out on my legs, tongue hanging out and nodded off for a bit, snoring loudly! It's very hard work being a doggy of his superiority and status!
See you all later!
