UK food prices.

Goodness. Have the best time, we visited Canada last year and fell in love with it, we visited Vancouver City and Vancouver Island, as well as other places. Isn’t Vancouver City one of those most expensive places in the world?

I live in Alberta. The joke around here is that B.C. doesn't mean British Columbia, it means Bring Cash - and lots of it. B.C. is known to be VERY expensive, and Vancouver especially is not cheap. The housing prices are INSANE.

France - seems very expensive this year particularly.

My US-based son thought UK food prices were cheap this summer compared to those in his American city. That’s a first in almost 25 years.

We don't appreciate how cheap good-quality food is in the UK. We visit our son in New Zealand every year and honestly, the food prices take your breath away! People economise by only eating meat or fish a couple of times a week. Even the home grown veg are expensive though.
