Good Morning Monday 7th September 2026

Good morning from the east coast. I’m just having a coffee then going to get ready to go to the gym.

Yesterday it was lovely to see DGS after his holiday he is so tanned. He is non conversational so he doesn’t tell us about his holiday. But judging by the pictures he has had a great time. His mother said there wasn’t a single meltdown and he was perfect. He starts his new special school this week and I’m very nervous .

I need to write three Thankyou cards this afternoon I’ve composed what I want to write so I just need to transfer it to the cards. They are to take to uncles assisted living on Wednesday for his life celebration gathering.

Thoughts to those struggling with stress and pain. 💐

Thank you all! I’ll be pleased when we’re there and in our hotel room - the travel is just a means to an end these days.
Checked in, sorted Assistance and we’ve to be gate 19 an hour before everyone else, for our flight to Heathrow. X

I’ve now caught up with madeleine’s hospital visit, and hope that the cellulitis is improving. When I had it I could hardly walk and couldn’t put a shoe on because my foot was so swollen!
