I'd be 18 that was a nice age , great weekends with friends. no wages paid into a bank account, just a few pounds....and I mean a very few...in a wee brown envelope on a friday. handed over my wages to mum and got pocket money ....changed days now

I remember that. The brown packet and handing it over to my parents, was called ‘tipping up’ in North Lancashire.

I'd be 47 and id love to go back to that age. I was fit, healthy and no mobility issues or pain. Also my mum was still with us. ❤️ but i would want to know what i know now otherwise there would be no point.

I think we had the best years from 60yrs up to the 80s - music wise, socially.
