Today after breakfast a early bus to Bicester have a coffee and snack , followed by a early beer or two in Spoons , then shop and talk to people I know.
Have lunch at home and relax, health OK.

Good morning everyone from Lancashire.

That's wonderful news, Mick! I'm delighted for you.

DH is downstairs getting ready to go into the office. I've got the beginning of a foot cramp that I keep trying to walk off. I must remember to start wearing bedsocks now the nights have turned chillier as cold feet are definitely a factor for me.

No half price Hallow'een items at the garden centre yesterday. The staff were busy dismantling the displays and packing everything up into boxes. Perhaps they have a sale or return agreement with their suppliers.
I found a pretty Thomas Kinkade calendar for my friend for Christmas and the little chap loved looking at the Christmas displays.

This morning we'll go to my Slimming World group and this afternoon we'll go to the library.

Marydoll I hope you have had a better night's sleep at home after the chaos of your hospital stay.

Wishing you all the best day possible. 🌻

Good morning from a dark and mild Llandudno.

Good news about the scan results Mick.

Yesterday I got a few books from mooching around the charity shops. Today we plan to do a further mooch for vintage clothing.

Happy Tuesday all.

Good morning from a dark, dry Bristol.
Good news, re. Prostate cancer, mick, and it’s good they’re keeping an eye on it.
My morning yesterday was rather busy with housework, etc. I had several letters to write/answer as well, before going to Tesco.
I had a very long shopping list, having depleted my stores with the amount of baking I’ve been doing. Tesco’s shelves were curiously empty of rather odd things - it reminded me a little of early lockdown when shelves were cleared. Dishwasher salt??
The shopping takes two hours with my neighbour’s friend, so it was midday by the time we came home. I made a chicken, leek and sweetcorn casserole for dinner, the remains of which will be frozen for several future meals.
The afternoon was quiet and I rested to gather my energy for tomorrow’s live concert. It will be busy as we haven’t had one for about three months, and that group is very popular.
Spanish class this morning, then, in the afternoon, my pc man is going to help me by making a file, with all the simple thing he tells me about each time, then I promptly forget when I actually need to use it - like transferring photos from phone to pc and eventually to external hard drive.
I hope MD keeps stable at home, not having picked anything up in hospital. May the rest of the mountaineers have a good day.

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 7° and dry. Mick that's excellent news. GrandMattie I hope the live concert goes well tomorrow. latedecember cramp is a real pain in the bum.
Yesterday morning, after I dropped off the boys at school, was quiet. We had a pleasant start with no dramas. In the afternoon I worked for an hour in the school library and managed to do quite a lot. Dgs1s class came in and the minute he saw me, he came over for a hug. He's very sweet. They ate prodigiously at my house and dgs2 wouldn't eat any dinner when he went home. Oops! I had enough energy left to tidy the kitchen after my dinner so a clean start this morning. My landscaper messaged me to say he will be starting next week. I'm very pleased about that as it means my garden will be done for Christmas. Fingers crossed.
Today I will bring them back to my house for breakfast. Waffles seem to be the favourite just now. I'm up early because I couldn't sleep after a restless night with too many pit stops. However I can nap later if I need to. Once I drop the boys at school, I want to tidy the dining room which is in a shocking state. I have been using it as a dumping ground and it needs sorted. Later I will collect the boys, bring them to my house for an hour or so then take them home. Dinner will be meatballs in tomato sauce which I will cook this morning. Have a good day all

Good morning from a dark and I think dry N Surrey. Tiny moon with clouds scudding past it. It always surprises me where it is in the morning. In the south east just now and high up. A week or so ago in the low west and lighting up our road from end to end. I can hear my voice saying "oh there you are".

Today the cinema at midday. I do hope I stay awake. Comfy seat, warm and dark there's no hope.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning from dry South Lanarkshire.

Great news Mick, I’m pleased for you.

Also pleased to hear that Marydoll is back to rest and recover in the comfort of her own home.

I’ve had a busy couple of days between childminding and putting up poppies. Our town centre display has been well received and the weather behaved beautifully while we worked which made it a pleasure. We have a couple of new recruits this year who are astonished at the work involved in making this happen.

I’ve a telephone appointment with the GP this morning, there’s soup to be made and housework to be done. Nothing exciting on the agenda.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning from s somerset, dry cool and it will be bright later

I don`t have many plans for today but I like that as I make the day my own. I will be starting with a town walk but first I need to change a pin for a new card

I am having a real battle trying to get onto the teacher pensions site and only now have I realised what a huge problem it is for very many teachers, even the bereaved cannot access it and many recent retirees cannot access pensions. Its a huge thing and is being quietly kept under wraps. That is what is happening as it transfers to Tata. It has been going on for a long time and I did not know until I started digging

That occupied my mind yesterday and that of one of my sisters.

I need to clear my head and the walk will do that, maybe followed by some gentle sewing, I have some hems to make on my new re-cut PJ top

Good morning it’s 8° with a high of 12° forecast, still haven’t got a big coat pit, just light jackets.

Good news Mick enjoy your beer in spoons

Pilates this morning, some of my parcels are waiting for me at M & S Food Hall, will wait for notification of two more arrivals. Hopefully after the gym I will go and get them and have a mooch round the other shops nearby.

I ordered a new garland for the fireplace and a table centrepiece from The White Company online. I am also looking at gifts for family, (I like to be done before 1/12)

(((Hugs))) to all our poorly morning friends 🙋‍♀️
