Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but dry outside and no doubt chilly here in Brackley this morning.
The usual routine with a bus trip to Bicester to shop and say hello to those I know, I have been wearing a fleece , but I am going to wear my winter coat due to the chilly air outside ,roll on milder weather as to winds .
Health OK ,
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning from Malta where a cloudy day is forecast with a high of 19°C, that’s 10°C cooler than yesterday. Such weird weather and difficult to know what to wear!

I had a busy day yesterday, went for my nails (photo in case you’re interested. I think my nail girl excelled herself. If you zoom in you can see two tiny bees 😄 DD2 sent me the design).

I then met my friend for coffee and we had a walk as both of us needed a couple of items from different shops. It was very hot.

I got home just in time for my treasures who arrived after school looking too adorable in shorts! Those dear little legs. I wish I could freeze time for a bit to keep them this lovely age.

They played outside, always involving me in their games. It’s nice to be needed.

I didn’t get to Lidl yesterday so will go today as I’m completely out of milk. The boys wanted Weetabix and porridge yesterday so it took all my milk apart from a tiny jug with enough for this morning’s tea!

Wishing you all a good day, thoughts always for those of you grieving, unwell or dealing with life’s bumps in the road.☀️

Good morning from a dry N Surrey. It's gettimg light, but quite cloudy. No sunshine yet.

I don't think it is as windy yesterday which kept it very chilly although the washing dried in a flash. I shall go and make a cup of tea and see how cold it is outside and hope the birds are singing. Fewer birds these last few spring times since magpies have moved in. Such a shame. Enjoy the day everyone as best you can.

Good morning from Bristol. It due to go from 6C to 19C today, also very vexing clothes-wise, bellas. Winter coat a.m., summer T-shirt p.m.
The photo of your bees hasn’t downloaded, but it seems that bella and your nail girl have surpassed themselves!
I was very tired yesterday, having had a very early start, no nap possible.
FAB cafe had 16, and was quite busy. This means that one regular doesn’t get my attention. We have lots of lovely chats on anything and everything when I’m free.
In the afternoon, I went to pick up a prescription, but went into a charity shop first as the pharmacy was still closed for lunch. I found a bag, like my neighbour’s, that I had been lusting after!
A quick visit to the neighbouring Waitrose completed that part of the afternoon.
When I got home, as it was nice, I decided to plant up my hanging baskets with impatience. They may not be very exciting, but are generous, and colourful throughout the season. I’ve run out of compost.
Toady, just t’ai chi and dinner with DD and family.
I trust that oldd is now safe with you, that MD doesn’t have any more adventures, that R&L has news, and everyone else I’ve missed is content.
May everyone have a good day. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩♥️

I’ll try again 🫣

Morning Mick, morning All. Our corner of Somerset is forecast a gloriously sunny day.

I’m still grumping with this sinus thing. Earache this morning and the usual head and face pains. As I’m definitely better outside Mr C decided we’d be off out for the day. Fresh air being the cure for everything in his book. Where? No idea at the moment but you know it’s not a bad thought.

As I’m told the back gardens still resemble a rat highway I’m reluctant to spend much time out there. To be fair I’ve not seen a rat, just heard the reports and am assured they come under our gate. Nice! The management company are on the case, far too slowly for my liking but there is at least hope.

Best wishes to all. Have the best day you can.

Good morning, golly it’s chilly here again on the hillside in south Glos, it didn’t really warm up until mid afternoon yesterday with the cold wind. The washing dried beautifully!
I have a hair appointment at midday today, looking forward to a lovely chat while I’m there. I might have to go and get the car filled up somewhere while I’m out, it’s getting low on fuel. Unfortunately the nearest petrol station is 8 miles in the opposite direction!
I could pop into a car dealer nearby while I’m in that direction to ask about getting another car. The one I was going to go to is 19 miles away and doesn’t have anything I’m interested in… decisions, decisions….
Still nothing more from the hospital 😬, my head aches from trying to not overthink things.
Anyway, I hope everyone has a good day x

Good morning from Sheffield

The alarm woke me this morning at 6 o’clock.
Very unusual as I am always awake before it goes off.

I need to rouse myself and get off for my walk.

We are babysitting this evening so it will be a busy evening. School pick up too for the other grandsons. And not forgetting the lovely cockapoo

Take care everyone flowers

Still nothing, bellas. Try tomorrow?

Good morning from another bright and sunny day on the Essex coast. I hope the cold wind has abated today.
DH had his head zapped at the Dermatology clinic yesterday and has another suspicious area on his neck that needs removing.
I have spent so much time just lately sitting in Costa at the hospital waiting for him watching the ebb and flow of patients.
Today it's a visit to Lidl first thing and a hair cut later.
I hope R&L gets some news soon, not good enough as my DH would say.
Wishing you all a good day xx

Good morning, it’s not particularly bright here, but fingers crossed for sunshine.

My cleaning fairies are here first thing. I need to get a few bits for DD’s birthday next week (I should have got them on Monday on Gingster’s High St. 🤦‍♀️) so will probably pop to Lakeside, as it’s too close to risk online shopping.

Wishing you all a peaceful day 🙋‍♀️

Good morning from the East Coast. It’s a mild sunny day today.

Yesterday was such a busy day with my uncle but I enjoyed it after all the upset and stress of the day before. My visits are usually 2 hours every fortnight. So to spend a day with him was nice. The urgent care team came about 1 o’clock. They checked him over and gave him a clean bill of health with just paracetamol needed for his backache and no hospital. I was able to leave him at 2-30 but he didn’t want me to go bless him. I won’t see him for a month now with going on holiday. I called in to see mum on the way back and update her with the news. Then it was home to the arms of DH where we could grieve together for our best friend.
I was in bed by 8.30 exhausted.

This morning I’m going to get my hair done. I’m having the full colour and highlights and I’ll have about an inch off so it’s not right over my neck. We are going to very high temperatures next week and I’ll have to keep it fastened back if it’s too long.
I’m picking DGS up from school and tonight we are going out for a meal with our other best friends as it’s his birthday. We will raising a glass to our absent friends tonight.

Thinking about those struggling with grief and sadness.💐
Hope there is sunshine in your day today🌼
