Working in someone else's home

I'm a cleaner/helper for a disabled lady. I love it, it's a really nice job she's great company and we have a laugh. But, I run quite warm even in the winter I don't get cold. This week is a killer and she won't let me open the door or windows! I thought I was going to pass out today! What do I do?

The room you are working in open the window, or does she follow you around?
Tell her you are nearly passing out with heat.
Some old folk still have their heating on 🥵

Ah yes, it will be. I am sorry for you. Can you not open a window when you are cleaning the rooms where the lady is not?

I would respect her space and leave things as they are. I suffer from hay fever so my windows have been shut since May.

All well and good but if Biscuitmuncher does pass out from the heat that's no good for either of them. Does the lady suffer from hay fever, that might not be the issue.
