Television Licence

I do not have a television. Or a radio. I do not want either. Anyway, I refuse to pay the BBC a brass farthing! I do not watch any I Player catch-up nonsense either.

Over the past year I have completed umpteen online forms and "returned to sender" threatening letters or binned them.

How can I stop these damned people from harrassing me?

The latest letter says that they will arrive on 19 August and have the right to inspect the entire of my property. No they damned well won't. They can, apparently, bring the police with them if I deny them entry!

How much is this malarkey costing the licence fee payer?

Assuming you don't watch any live tv at all on any type of device nor as you say any bbc tv at all
You don't need a licence.
No licence is needed for listening to any radio including BBC radio.
Bit as we know Is and ought will never meet.
How about arranging for some strong arm person to be with you at the appointed time and letting them in.
Get a note of their names and designation.
Contact numbers. Emails etc.
Maybe ask to film the event.
