Just bumped into a neighbour, we don't know each other very well, but are on nodding terms.
However this encounter, in the mobile post office queue seemed to warrant a bit more than a nod.
She asked the usual question "All ready for Christmas?"
As I was the next person on to the mobile post office van, after waiting ages while the 2 charming Romanian chaps were organising their money transfers, I sort of three over my shoulder "yes, got everything except cat food"
