Now that the emotional baggage of who went where, whose turn it was and who might have felt put upon or possibly left out.
Try to remember this next year when it all starts up again!

We all went to my daughters ,us,her OH 's parents her granny her brother his partner and his daughter and her friends and their children .. and she always puts out a msg to anyone who may spend christmas alone to join us ..its what we've done since the first GC was small as he wanted to stay at home and play with his new toys ..its what we'll do next year too.She has multiple health issues and if she's not up to the cooking etc then we'll all muck in...isn't that how it should be ?

Why don't I ever find cards like that??

I do love funny, slightly irreverent ones. I only ever send charity cards, but so many of them are twee or boring.

One year ages ago I found some depicting the shepherds in a field with their sheep at night, and an angel in the sky.
Out of one of the shepherd's mouths was a 'balloon', saying, 'Bugger off! You're scaring the sheep!'
Had to be careful who I sent those to, though!

Should add that I've recently spent ages knitting a Nativity set for Gdcs, so I'm not wholeheartedly irreverent - I just like really funny cards.
