What are you hoping to find under your tree this year?

Never any presents to open so no longer put up a tree. Just a normal day.

No Christmas tree so nothing under it. DH said at the weekend he needed to do some Christmas shopping. I replied "please don't because I have more than enough of everything". But he says he wants to show his appreciation. Bless him because it has been him looking after me all this year. Perhaps a paper promising better health next year would be nice to find. Alas no one can provide that.

Shalimar eau de parfum, and a silk scarf I have had my eye on.?

I wrapped some small things (mostly charity shops or tombola wins) for the family we will share the day with. The DGC are already speculating what might be inside. They look much better wrapped!!
I'm happy to get anything and I love to see all the happy faces.

I have never had a ‘good’ handbag usually cheapish ones from a market stall. I spotted a Radley one a few weeks ago that I liked. Fingers crossed.
The best thing to find though would be all the family lined up for a photo’. We will see them all over Christmas but may have to join photos together .

Tickets for Christmas 2020 in Barbados! I am not a fan of the stress of a UK Christmas.

HillyN my friend has one, they are amazing... Maybe you could buy a second hand train set from ebay and decorate it yourself?

I've been hankering after one of those toy trains that runs round and round on a circular track under the tree, but my DH thinks they are naff and a waste of money. So next time he wastes money on something naff, I know what to do...

I would like a nice envelope containing tickets for a trip to New York on the QM 2 to go and see our daughter, son-in-law and baby grandson who we miss so much.

Floradora9 Sorry you are really not looking forward to Christmas. Yes, memories can be very painful. I am sure you are not on your own feeling like this.

I'm so so sorry for everyone who doesn't like Christmas, I hope you find some joy in the days if not the holiday

No tree in our house and no presents just count the days when it will be all over. It makes me really sad all the fuss and the memories.

You can keep your boxes of chocolates. What I wouldn't give for some 'chocolate dates'.

A few people on here have mentioned they would like to find Kelvin under the tree. I thought he and Oti were superb dancers and had great chemistry and I wanted them to win.

I know it is a naughty thought but some of those dance moves were sensually hot and Kelvin always had his arm around Oti,
I wonder did Kelvin's wife ever feel a tinge of jealousy after all what about the Strictly curse when people get a bit carried away.
Sorry I know it was all done professionally but even if I am a nanny I still have life in me although Kelvin would be too young but he did look quite fit.
