Just hearsay, but according to a friend, there was a rucus outside our local Waitrose, last Saturday morning, because they didn't open the doors at 8am sharp. Sad.

Mr P popped into Waitrose on Christmas Eve and saw a group of people standing near the chilled turkeys waiting for the person with the pricing gun to reduce them!

There were more people than turkeys, so that won't have ended well!

Anyone is welcome to my pigs.
I bought them “in case” and “case “ didn’t happen.
I went out for a meal after all.

Well only in Wetherspoon' s, Callistemon, as it seems that their supplier didn't have enough workers to make them.

Were people fighting over pigs in blankets?

Apparently there wasn't a shortage after all

I recently witnessed a fight between three women in a bank, with a poor manager trying to mediate. I have no idea what they were fighting about! tchconfused

According to some newspapers there have been fights over items in the shops. I find this infinitely depressing and sad. Personally I would like to think if there was only one item available and myself and someone else wanted it i would let them take it. To my mind nothing is worth fighting over.
