Well, creme brûlée, tiramisu ganache, cognac caramel etc. To name just a few.

It is the way they are made as well, they sort of look more like mini deserts.

It’s not that I dislike them, but that I prefer the more traditional chocolate.

I went into a gorgeous chocolate shop on Wednesday, now Belgium is famous for it's chocolate.
I saw Beetroot and Ginger and green Thai curry.
Yuck and double yuck.
I bought my usual small box for my son-in-law, somehow I do not think curried pralines would be to his taste.

My favourite is a truffley/ noisette type concoction
Least favourite - coffee and strawberry creams, toffees

What's a modern flavour?

Yes, there was a programme last week about Britain's favourite chocolate bars and I was positively drooling over the traditional ones (of my youth). You can keep the"modern" chocolates!

I have been given a box of chocolates for Christmas, and have been sampling them this afternoon?.

They are what one would describe as modern flavours. Whilst delicious I have decided that I really prefer the more traditional flavours.
