I don't have an advent candle, but I do have an advent wreath with four candles. One for each Sunday of advent. The first candle was of course lit on Sunday, and I light it every evening at dinner time. The others will be lit on the comings Sundays and burn during the week too.

We have one each year and burn it at breakfast time so we don't use too much. On a dark morning it brightens things up and it reminds us of the season of Advent too.

We have had them over the years, the problem is we often forgot to light it, so no, not now.

No - too dangerous

I bought one years ago, but never used it.

It’s in the loft somewhere, must rescue it and use it up.

Long ago when my two children were small having both an Advent candle and an Advent calendar meant that each evening one child could open the window for the day and the other help light and blow out the candle after the story had been read. It was a lovely run up to the excitement of Christmas and is remembered fondly by them both.

Yes, and all of my family receive one as an Advent gift from me. I love them.

No candle, but a calendar, just with pictures behind the windows and still enjoy opening it every morning.

I bought one years ago for the novelty but never bought another.

I do like them and tried having one once but I kept forgetting to blow it out at the right time so the days were used up too quickly.

Last night we lit our Advent Calendar for the first time this year. We have one every year. We went to church in the morning and of course the first candle was lit there, but at home we have one candle that’s supposed to burn down each evening to the next mark. We don’t have Advent Calendars, although we always got them for our children, but we always have the candle.
