Hands up you lovely gransnetters who are looking forward to 2025! I must admit I am. The last couple of years have been a hard slog for both my husband and myself healthwise, but as we say to each other when we get knocked down we getup again and just carry on and deal with whatever is thrown at us as you have to no good moaning about it! Or worrying. Pick yourself up and start again as my dad used to say! Always someone worse off

We ate also looking forward to the New Year. 2024 has been a massive rollercoaster ride with extreme highs and lows which have quite frankly exhausted me (hubby feeling similar but very glad to have survived major health crisis). We're off to a spa hotel today for a couple of nights, just need a refreshing, healthy break away. Our lives have changed massively and our new normal is becoming a way of life. Moaning has become a waste of time, taking matters into our own hands more and more where possible helps.
I hope your 2025 is improved and brings happy times and most importantly healthy times

The last two years have been very challenging in different ways. Hoping for a better 2025, but as DH has barely strung two words together over Christmas, not looking promising so far. However first GC due imminently which is wonderful! Wishing everyone on GN a peaceful and healthy new year x
