Wow so pleased that I got the email saying I won the Scooter. Our Grace is going to love it, it is nice to win something like this. Our daughter as a single mum is really working hard to qualify as a nurse so we are at the moment the main carers, while she at UNI or doing long training shifts. So best I dust down my old 1950's skates so I can catch Grace up

FYI on the children's book front.
We don't announce the winners of the kids' book of the month on here because there are too many. But if you receive a copy of our selected book within the month you can be sure it came from us
With our giveaways/book competitions - if you've filled in a form to enter you will receive an email from us if you are a winner.
With competitions run via various threads (such as the ones where we chat about the kids' book of the month or the ones linked to blog posts) the winners are announced on those specific threads (you will get an email too)
Otherwise this thread would be completely hijacked by books and Kat would be fuming wouldn't have room to announce all the winners of our other competitions

WOW! Nay thrice wow! What a super surprise. Thank you so much - a greatly appreciated prize with which I hope to celebrate my 70th birthday with DH. All my family are away at a festival for "the day" itself so we had been wondering what we could do for the two of us and here is the answer! I am truly grateful.
