Thanks a million for my box of books! I've been waiting for the official announcement but not seen it, so I will officially announce that I won the Pie Week competition from ear to ear.

My copy of April's book club choice, Wendy Cope's Life, Love and the Archers, has just arrived. Thank you so much - I'm looking forward to reading it and commenting on the book club thread.

I received a copy of The Something this morning. Thank you, my granddaughters (and their parents) are coming at the end of May and I look forward to reading it to them!!

I won "Let loose the leopard" for my great grandson some time ago. It is still his favourite book and it is so funny hearing him quoting it verbatim! I am not sure if , at nearly three, he understands "You are trying my patience" but it certainly amuses all the family!
