We've always got something fabulous up for grabs here on Gransnet. If you've got any questions about a prize or would like to discuss what you've won with fellow gransnetters, feel free to post here.
Also - do check your emails around the closing date of the competition you've entered. If you've won, we would have emailed you the details. Don't forget to check your junk mail, as sometimes our mails slip through the net.
If you've got your posts in chronological order, click on 'Last' at the top of this thread to skip to the last page of this thread for the most recent winners.
I find myself agreeing with Maggiemaybe, June 13th re competition winner announcements. It seems as though GNHQ are not posting winners names so much these days.
For example who won the Haven Holiday Break, or is it still ongoing ?
I put off ordering the new Lesley Pearse book just in case I won one but I haven't seen anyone say that they have won one yet. I have thoroughly enjoyed all her other books so still have my fingers crossed! I am definitely not moaning though as I have enjoyed receiving a few books from gransnet.
I was very pleased to win a copy of " Jam Busters" as I have been a member and secretary of our local WI for some years. Things have changed over the years but the principle s still the same. I have tried many crafts, visited a lot of interesting places and even had a go at belly dancing. You are never to old to have a go!! The only criticism I have about the book that so many names and places appear in the book that it can become a little tedious for non WI members. But worth a read for historical facts. Thank you Grandsnet for my book.
Thankyou for 'When Dad showed me the universe' My Grandaughter loves it. This week we received 'The big blue thing at the top of the hill' which is a lovely fun book.
Thank you so much for the bundle of cookery books delivered this morning. Particularly the Best Ever Family Recipes From Mumsnet, which the DD2 and DIL can fight over or share nicely, and the Fast Diet Recipe Book, which is mine, all mine! It's about time my fast day main meals progressed from a tin of soup and a couple of slices of dry bread!
And the draw for best summer reads (in case you didn't see it on the thread...was won by nonnanna. Far too many entires to fit in a hat so we used technological wizardry instead. We are most envious!
