Thank you so much for Dylan's Dinosaurs which was left with a neighbour . She just brought it round. My little grandson is staying with us this week and loves dinosaurs so I cant wait to read it to him in the morning.

Thank you for my Dylan copy too. Especially love the 'real' dinosaur at the back of the book. This book will be loved by my grandchildren.

Loved 'A First Book of Nature' so thank you so much for sending me a copy. I was lucky enough to see Mark Hearld's work at Yorkshire Sculpture Park some time ago and really appreciated seeing his spontaneous and lively work at close quarters. It comes over well in this book which I am sure my grand daughter will enjoy looking at with me for a long time to come.

There was a full page article in the Guardian on Saturday about Maeve Haran, and I have taken to waving it under the nose of anybody who'll stand still long enough because it mentions The Time of Their Lives, which I like to call "my book" (sorry, Maeve and other chosen Gransnetters). Now that I've received my copy and find I've two whole quotes in it, I'm rendered helpless with excitement. But go on then, I'll share - thank you, Gransnet, Maeve and publishers for "our book". It's a good advert for GN and let's hope it's a bestseller!

Just to let you know: a few weeks ago, I won a copy of Love, Lies and Lemon Pie. My 11-year-old GD loves it and has started working through the recipes. So Thanks Gransnet from a very happy 11-year-old.

In April I won £200 worth of garden vouchers, and thought you might like to know that I am gradually spending them, didn't want to fritter them away. So far I have bought a new electric drill from Homebase, to replace my cordless which was not man enough for masonry, replaced frost damaged pots, and chosen lots of plants. DD found an old tin bath behind the shed in her newly rented house, which we have planted up with herbs - looks great! I still have £60 left which will buy some roses to go against a newish fence. It has been great not to have to count the pennies! Thanks again!
