We've got our hands on 6 pairs of Eyejusters to give away!

Eyejusters are the near vision solution we’ve all been waiting for: Adjustable focus reading glasses. Eyejusters are a single pair of glasses to replace all your reading glasses.

The glasses have two small dials tucked behind the frame to adjust the lenses for each eye independently. They allow you to move the in-focus zone at any time to the desired distance. You can adjust the lens power from +0 to +3.00D, covering the range most commonly used in daily life. You need only one pair for all close-up activities.

You could also give the glasses away as a present for your husband or children, who refuse to get their eyes tested...

Eyejusters lens units have been developed and manufactured in-house, in the UK. The technical design fits into normal, stylish frames. For more details, take a look on Eyejusters' website.

Can you imagine a day without your reading glasses? To win a pair of Eyejusters (you get to pick you own style), tell us about all the activities you need reading glasses for these days.

This competition will close at midday on Friday 10 June.

Menus in restaurants!! They always have the description of their dishes in minute print! Very frustrating ?

I need reading glasses for pretty much everything these days. I find if I do the cleaning without them on I will have do do it again with them on!

Gosh there are so many activities that I need my glasses for - reading, reading to my grandchildren, reading to my grandchildren (who live abroad) on Skype, knitting, sewing, whilst using the computer at home and at work. In fact I need reading glasses for day to day living!!!

Painting my finger nails, if I dont get some glasses soon I will be overcome with fumes as I have to get so close to the nail varnish now!

This is going to sound a bit odd, unless there is someone on here with the same problem.
I started becoming short-sighted around the age of 8, gradually my eyesight worsened, until eventually eveything was a blur - unless I wore my glasses or held books very close to my face. I hated wearing my specs! Not just for vanity, but also even with glasses on you loose your peripheral vision; several pairs became broken once my children came along. So when I was able to afford it I went over to contact lenses. These have been great, until the last couple of years when I started to become long-sighted! Yes you can have both! Now when I wear my contact lenses I need reading glasses too! I did consider eye surgery, but apart from the cost my eyes aren't suitable. I love to read, for myself, & now I read to my grandchildren too. I also like to sew, knit & draw. I would love to have a good pair of reading glasses - to help me enjoy so much again!

Am shortsighted and read without glasses but am finding there are times when my eyes get tired and need some help with reading

Can't do without a pair of reading specs at all. Have a pair in my living room and bedroom and a spare pair in my bag. Can't find my distance pair without them. Latest use is for doing the washing up. Used to tell my mother she needed to wear her reading glasses for this - I guess it comes to us all, I have become my mother!

reading, but more importantly for sewing which i do every day

For reading the small print, which is getting smaller!

nessa38ish Mon 16-May-16 13:28:35

those pesky instructions on food packets or medicine bottles, i'm sure the writing is getting smaller!

Annitona Mon 16-May-16 13:41:37

I need reading glasses for newspapers and magazines, reading labels on food stuff, time tables at the bus stops, using the phone and working on my iPad - just to mention a few things!

These would be great for reading the small print on packets, etc. in the supermarket - I'm convinced they don't really want us to see what's in the product; cooking instructions, threading needles, crossword clues, etc.

What a clever idea!
I currently have one eye adjusted for distance and one eye the lens is for close up. Not everyone can get away with this but it makes a big difference than trying to adjust or change glasses for everything. These are a brilliant idea as sometimes mid distance like computer levels are just out of close up range and not quite right for distance.
I use close up for all sorts including drawing, painting, reading and lots of intricate creative stuff.
Super duper!

Varifocals here as well

I need them for reading my ebooks, internet, eating my food, cooking my food, My eyesight is deteriorating, age related I expect, I need glasses for looking at anything closeup. I didn't used to need them till I had a cataract removed.

jeberdes83 Mon 16-May-16 16:30:37

I have macular degeneration in my left eye only. Have had 3 injections, but they haven't helped. My eye was damaged some years ago when I had an operation for detached retina. I do wear reading glasses for all the usual things, reading , computing etc, but do really need separate lenses for each eye!.

Grannycupcake Mon 16-May-16 16:38:13

The most important thing I need them for is reading the small writing on pills, and foods in 'bargain' supermarkets, where they 'helpfully' put the ingredients in five or six languages. I have a dairy intolerance.

Hameringham Mon 16-May-16 16:54:18

Just simply so that I can read with ease and enjoy one of life's great pleasures.

Lona Mon 16-May-16 16:57:24

Great idea! I need new reading glasses as mine just fell apart!

leemw711 Mon 16-May-16 17:04:43

Would love to win a pair of these specs. Lost my prescription reading glasses last week and am lost without them but can't really afford new ones from my tiny pension. As a retired librarian I am desperate to be able to read again (and yes, I know losing mine was entirely my own fault...)

Dianic Mon 16-May-16 17:09:40

I need them for reading numbered bar codes at work and for seeing small print that "they" don't want you to read, before signing docs. Plus, of course, I like to read at night in bed!!

Gypsyqueen13 Mon 16-May-16 18:03:58

I don't need reading glasses but my husband does. He uses them when he plays Bridge, when he uses his mobile phone and laptop and for reading too. He would love to have the chance to try these.

cporteus Mon 16-May-16 18:36:19

Playing bridge

Reading, computer, laptop, shopping - just living, really!

Isobelw Mon 16-May-16 21:58:44

I have a pair of reading glasses in each room. I need them for reading, computer work and reading the small print on food packaging.
