We're giving away a gorgeous activity hamper, including a pack of Coaching Cards for Grandparents and a £50 John Lewis voucher.

We all know the relationship between grandparents and their grandchildren is a very special one. Barefoot Coaching Cards for Grandparents by Kim Morgan is a pack of cards containing questions to inspire fun and magical conversations. Each pack contains questions for grandparents to ask their grandchildren and questions for children to ask their grandparents.

My Grandson told me that his Mummy keeps a bag of crisps on her dressing table incase she gets hungry while she puts her make-up on because it takes quite a while!

Not a question but a statement. My grandsons were running ahead of me so I asked them to slow down as Grandma was getting old and couldn't keep up. The ypunger one replied "You aren't old Grandma, you just look it."

My grandaughter asked me how babies were born. I told her about the storks and angels, but she relpied no nana they come out of mummie big tummy but how? I told her by magic as she was only 5 years old at the time. She reponded her teacher told her the baby came out of her pyjamas, she told her teacher mummy dosnt were pyjamas she weres shorts, I was stumped at to what to explain to her. Too cleaver for me I told her to ask daddy. He really thanked me for that

My father in law recently died. On the days leading up to his death my youngest asked why I was spending so much time at the hospital. I tried to explain but couldnt help but laugh when she said "Have the angels got to wait for the repair man before they can pick Gramps up then"

My Grandson said to me

'Grandma, why do you look after us so often?'

I replied

'Because your mum and dad have to go to work to earn money to buy lots of treats for you'

To which my Grandson replied:

'Why can't you and Grandad go to work instead and give us the money for our treats?'
