Whilst laying in my hospital bed, my seven-year-old GD came to visit me. She looked at me, then whispered to her mother who then collapsed laughing.

When she could speak again, my daughter explained that my GD had asked that if I died, could she please have my new hat (a natty new straw number that she knew I'd bought for my holiday!)!

GD, 5, asked me if I loved the blouse I was wearing. I replied that I quite liked it.
Her reply,"well I don't!"

My grandson had been bitten and had some spots and his cheeks was a little dry too. So when he hurts he said he has bou bou. I have a black spot on the back of mt hand and on my cheeks, he said I got bou bou as well and he will blow and kiss it better for me. I could explain as he felt sad because he thinks I am hurting too. X

Talking about Tiger in a Tutu and 5yr old DGS thought we would win a real tiger in a tutu. Said that wouldn't be very good because tigers eat meat, and therefore might eat him. "No grandma, he would eat you because you're bigger than me!" Then proceeded to lost every other member of the family, including his 10month baby sister, that would be eaten before him.

My son broke his ankle with a fall. His brother asked if he would have to have his leg off! I said light-heartedly "I don't think so" He paused a while and said: "When he has his leg off, can I have the top bunk?"

My GS was at home from school poorly. He asked me 'Do you know what I learnt today?' I replied 'No' to which he answered 'I learnt that when I have a tummy upset it is not a good idea to fart'! The washing machine was chugging away in the background!

My Granddaughter asked me if I had eyes in the back of my head when I was able to tell her what she was doing even though I was looking out of the kitchen window while doing the dishes.

It brought back happy memories of her Mum asking the same question as a youngster. She was quietly poking her sister at the time and I was remonstrating with her.

It was nice to be seen as having "super powers" even if only for a short while.

My 4 year old Grandson asked why Grandads hair was on his chin and not on his head. Is it because his wig slipped down? Or has he got his head on upside down. I was laughing to much to come up with an answer and by the time I stopped he was laughing to much to care what the answer was
