Big Words for Little Geniuses is a lovely book. It prompted lively discussion in the staff room and 6 year olds first loved the illustrations then the words. Bibliomania and whirligig were especially popular!

I'm a bit confused here (not unusual!). A copy of 'baby and toddler knits' has just arrived and I don't know who sent it. I don't remember entering a competition on Gransnet but I'm sure the book will be very useful. Our knitting group makes things and sells them in aid of the local children's hospice.
