I was born in the 1960's so "my" time for fashion was the 70's. Baby Doll smock tops, tiny waist and wide Oxford Bag trousers.

However my favourite fashion era is definitely the 20's.

I would love to have been one of those new age women who ditched their corset and dared to wear a flapper dress. Having their hair cut into a bob and doing the Charleston. Wow.

It was the 60s for me. The beginning of freedom and being able to be an individual

The 1920's and its daring prints and styles that must have rocked the world of a generation. In Paris particularly, some of the most innovative work was by Siégel and Pierre Imans, who were inspired by the Cubist and abstract forms of avant-garde art. The result was simply breathtaking!

l think the cloths of the 60s was the best loved the flowing skirts it was always so glamouros and sleek

The 40s the women were so stylish, immaculate, from their hair, down to their feet. Pencil skirts Swagger coast, If I could go and live in the 40s just for a week, to get the chance to wear those clothes in that atmosphere it would be Heaven..

I quite enjoyed the noughties!

60s all the way - Mary Quant, Twiggy, mini skirts, bo-ho etc. I have seen all of the above styles reconstructed over the years. Nothing is new but innovation is exciting!

I loved the 80s - when the long flowery dresses and skirts were fashionable. They covered up all the bumps and lumps and looked so elegant. They were wonderful to wear too - especially on a hot summer's day.

I loved the 80s yes we think it was all power suits but I was a New Romantic, loved my frills

Definitely the sixties when I stopped dressing like Mum and started wearing clothes purchased from King's Road Chelsea. We used to go to London twice a year to catch up on the latest fashion trends. Some hits (a Biba outfit) and some misses (bought a Viva Maria outfit influenced by the Bardot/Moreau film and predicted to be on trend which it never was)!

Personally I loved the Seventies. Such bright and bold fabrics with big designs.

THE 70S. I loved glamrock

I think every decade brings its own look, and I could probably choose a favourite stylish piece from each one.

I liked the seventies. I still have a bright yellow cheese cloth blouse with embroidery,drawstring at neck and sleeves with tassels! I bought it in Paris so it's very special and still fits!

A lot of people say the 60's, but I'm going for the 80's - the jackets in particular, were so cool!!

Loved the 60s. The clothes were different the music was vibrant every day it felt great to be young

I love the fashion of the 1950s & sixties but was too young to appreciate it - then a bit of a fashion gap until the mod-like two-tone black & white look came back in the late 1970s-early 1980s. Being petite, these mini dresses & skirts looked really good on me and showed my figure off nicely - feeling all nostalgic! lol! The music was even better than the clothes most of the time too.

The seventies- so many different styles-mini-midi-maxi and hot pants!
